UPDATE: I received an unbelievably rude email from them today. They're threatening to kick me out as a patient because of this review I wrote. It's absolutely disgusting. How do you threaten a patient first of all, and this is a supposed mental health provider looking out for my best interest?Where to begin. I've been a patient for over 6 years. When I first started everything and everyone were great. All the staff knew you by first name and were incredibly sweet and caring.But then things started to change. My NP left, all the staff left. They then had to switch me to another NP. After being with the new NP for 2 years, she left as well. ****************** then decided to open up an additional practice in Huntington. Everything went to s..t then. There's a new face at the desk everytime, no one knows who you are and that belonging feeling is gone. You're not a patient anymore, you're a paying customer. His 'claim specialist' is probably the stupidest person I ever encountered. I spent $1600 for a test and she couldn't get the claim approved for 6 months. The killer part, my insurance already pre-approved the test and it takes her 6 months to figure out how to submit a claim when that's her job. I spoke to the manager and he was very rude and blaming the insurance company. BTW the 'general manager' just happens to be ********************** son. ****************** has turned his practice into a business empire, not a mental health practice. It's all about the money now. They literally charge you for nearly everything. So now I was pushed onto my 3rd NP *****************. She is beyond horrible and knows nothing about psychiatry. She has said to me numerous times "I don't know how to help you or what to do with you". She said ****************** will oversee my case but he didn't. I literally have to run the sessions with ***** bc she doesn't know what she's doing. I literally walked out of a session because she has no plan of action, and makes it very clear she doesn't want to be there.
