    I just left a review only to get an email from the company accusing me of harassing them because I called them twice and emailed them twice because no one had returned my calls. This is unacceptable and they shouldnt treat customers the way they do. How dare they accuse me of harassing them for sending two emails and calling twice after not receiving a callback from them. This company is the worst!!!!!

    We received a call from ******************** to get trash and recycling service on 3/22/22. She was in a hurry to get equipment and service for her tenants. We were able to accommodate her quickly and had her toters delivered on 3/23/22. She was explained the service, cost, payment methods accepted and details for new customers. We specifically detail that equipment must be put curbside the evening before, there are several garbage holidays and early cancellation costs. As follow up, all information (NEW START PACKET) is either emailed or mailed to a new customer for their review. Her first week all toters were picked up on her day of service. There was a notation from the driver that boxes were not broken down and there were some on the top of the toter. We picked up everything, even though the boxes were an issue. I believe she doesnt live on the site and she put a tenant in charge of putting the equipment curbside. The second week there was no equipment curbside for pick up. This obviously created a problem for her.At this time she called to cancel service. We asked why and spoke to the early cancellation charges. That conversation was not received well. ******************** is convinced that we took the cancellation personally. There is nothing personal about it, there are costs associated with doing business. We delivered equipment. We have an hourly driver in a fueled, insured vehicle. For these reasons we charge for early cancellation. Let me reiterate, she is cancelling because her second week of service was unable to be provided when the containers/toters were not put out. ******************** called the office may times in addition to multiple emails. She was belittling to our procedures and rude to several of us in the office. I asked her to please stop. To make the situation worse, when scheduling final pick up and removal of equipment, the toters were once again not out.Sincerely,******************************** Director of *****************

    This company and the person who is responding to my complaint is misinformed or is just a plain liar. I did not cancel my service because of them failing to pick up garbage that was not outside. I called and explained exactly why I canceled I was very transparent about it but I knew they had a problem with it when I informed them. I canceled because I had been trying to contact the city to get garbage pick up with the city however I was informed that the city would not pick up the garbage because the building had four apartments and from my understanding they only picked up garbage from buildings with three or less apartments. Well a few weeks after signing up with Recycle Depot the city called me and informed that they do pick up garbage from my property I just needed to sign up with them and as soon as I got off of the phone with them I called Recycle depot. Ever since then they treated me like **** refused to take my calls and accused me of harassing them when I emailed them since they would not take or return my calls. I was never rude or belittling to anyone however they were. It got so bad that I had to ask them not to take it personally because of how they were speaking to me and treating me like I was pestering them when I called, emailed and left messages just following up on my pick up days. I would not have had to call and leave messages and send emails if someone would have returned my calls and/or emails. And I didnt put a tenant in charge, the tenants live in the building and they put their own garbage out like every other tenant in any other building. This was the first time dealing with this company and even though I provided them with the information provided to me by Recycle Depot they kept confusing the pick up days but not once did I blame Recycle Depot I simply called to ask when we could get the garbage picked up again since my tenants missed the pick up date. The only problem created for me was the rudeness and condescending tone I got when I called. Shame on you for lying on me about why I canceled. Shame on you for accusing me of harassing you. Have you seen your reviews, I am not the only one that have this complaint. They were so nice when I first called for service but as soon as I told them I was canceling they were rude, condescending and down right unprofessional.
