I ordered a custom vest on 2-14-24 paid $254.00 from my debit card. He said it will take 8 weeks. So I touched base with him the ladder part of March, he replied it will ship out 3-25-24. Since then Ive called 3 times and left messages and 2 emails and 1 text called again this morning and left another message. I hope you can help me with this issue. I purchased a custom vest from this company on 9/4/21. I have sent numerous emails phone calls and voicemails to get an update on my order. No response at all. They already charged me for the purchase. I want my money back due to lack of communication.Business response

The customer ordered a CUSTOM MADE VEST that take 5-8 weeks (as stated on our website). He knew this when making the purchase. But was unhappy to wait. This was during the pandemic and all shipments were delayed due to factories closing. So this further delayed the shipments. I explained this to each of our customers, stating that there would be a delay. Most understood but a couple did not. This issue was resolved last year via a refund given to the customer. I have attached the document from our processor, Braintree (subsidiary of PayPal) that shows the refund was give and the date given. Hopefully this will resolve the issue and you can close it out.Initial Complaint

I ordered a custom vest, invoice dated July 6, 2021. On August 27, 2021, I used their chatbot to check in on the status of the order. I received the following response: "Hello, I can help you with this.Custom vests can take anywhere from 5 to 12 weeks to be finished. Currently they are averaging about 5 to 8 weeks. Your vest is around week 7.Once finished, our system will automatically email the tracking number so that you know the exact date to expect it.Thanks for your custom vest order, and let me know if there are any other questions that I can help you with."Since then I have requested updates on the order numerous times using their chatbot, emailed support at MCVests, and have left voicemails. This morning, October 26, 2021, I tried calling again without an answer. I'm currently way past the 12 week period from date of order with no explanation/update on status of order.Business response
