      I used Arnoff moving and storage to pack and move my belongings to storage and then return them to a new home that I had built approximately one year later. When they moved the belongings in they damaged the wall of my brand new home, and they had completely broken an entertainment system. Their staff was extremely rude to me when I pointed these things out. They tried to say that it is just normal for that to happen during a move. I have filed the necessary insurance documents. More than 30 days has passed and my emails seeking an update on the claim have gone unanswered. They tell you that during the pendency of the insurance claim you cannot make any repairs to your home or the product that they damaged. So I am sitting in a new construction home with a damaged wall and damaged goods and no timeframe on when I may be able to resolve these issues.

      We write to you today to advise you that although we did acknowledge receipt of the claim from ****************** within 1 business day, we did require time to adjudicate.  Although we do have 120 days to finalize a claim, we did issue payment to ****************** in less than 90 days from the date we received the claim.  Part of the delay was that we requested two bona-fide repair estimates and when we received them, the scans were incomplete and did not contain the companies information / letterhead.  We contacted ******************, and asked her to re-send them.  Once we received the proper copies, we issued settlement to ****************** in full according to the terms and conditions of her move.  We have now closed our file.

      Arnoff is in receipt of a letter from the BBB dated Sunday April 24, 2022 which we received date stamped into our office on Thursday April 28, 2022.  On Friday April 29, 2022 I checked with our CFO who confirmed that the full and final settlement check issued to *************************** on April 08, 2022 was cashed on Friday April 22, 2022.  The check was issued in the amount of $1,325.40 to cover our contractual obligations to ***************************.
