I don't remember the exact date of the transaction that this happened but I bought a car for $15,000 from Queensbury Auto Mall, a 2016 ******* ****** ***. During the first two weeks of me owning this car there was a popping noise coming from the front passenger side, I thought it was the CV axle and I called the dealership back. The man who sold me the car informed me that it was not the CV axle, he informed me that it was just the car stopping the CV axle from being damaged. Well now not even two thousand miles Later the CV axle came undone from the rubber housing, busting the boot open causing the grease inside the axle to spill out all over the road and the axle that broke off to spin inside my car. I'm lucky it did not cause anything damage to the transmission or engine but I now have $1,000 repair I need to do because this dealer lied to me about the condition of the car when I got it. I purchased a truck from Queensbury Auto mall on Dec 14, 2022. Immediately there were issues with the vehicle. We took it back immediately each time in a time period of 3.5 weeks. The repairs were a cover up of the real problem. The truck is losing 1-2 quarts of oil within 300 miles. Smoke from engine, running rough. I asked for my money back, I paid $10000 cash and financed the additional $17000. I was ignored and told there was nothing wrong with the truck. Now I am forced to get legal involved. As a customer I was never able to speak and explain, each time they said nothing is wrong. I want my money back or a replacement vehicle of equal or lessor value. I asked several times for a refund and cancel my purchase. The truck was driven less than 1000 miles total since purchase. Now the truck is sitting in the driveway until engine repair, which could be as high as 8000-10000. Every person I spoke to at Queensbury Auto Mall was not listened to the issues and said the truck is fine. They filled it with oil the last time, and it was down 2 quarts in 2 days. After spending $27,000 in 3.5 weeks, I have a shell of a truck with broken engine. How fair is this? I am beyond disappointed in this issue. And this will result in more money, which was not the plan when buying this truck. The truck is flawless as far as exterior and interior, but not much I can do now that I can’t drive it.Business response

Response taken by phone: We sent the truck out to a **** dealership and confirmed the issue. We then bought the truck back from her.
