I do not recall when this actually began, but apparently, I agreed to this and am now having a recurring payment automatically come out of my checking account each month for $44. I have tried to contact the company by phone and no one will answer the phone. My primary request is to cancel the recurring payment. If I can get a refund, that would be a bonus.Business response

I have checked your account and you entered a raffle to win a Ninendo Switch, which included a trial to our budgetting software. It was clearly displayed on the website, the terms and conditions that you agreed to, as well as the confirmation email, that the trial will automatically recur at $44 a month when not canceled. I have now canceled your membership, so there will be no future charges. We also went ahead and refunded the charges for the last 6 months. This should reflect in your account within a couple of days.
As for the phone number not answering, I have just tested the number and was successfully connected to a costumer service representative. Our team is available 24/7.Thank you.

I recived a email to pay one dollar for a ******** switch since that time I have been charger 44 dollars every month for some sort of subscription that i didn't aeree to. I've been trying to contact the business for some time now to cancel whatever it is that the ppl who are putting ppl into this sistema falsly .any help is appriciated .just want the account terminate and the money back thank you .Business response

Hello,
It it written clearly on the website and terms and conditions that it automatically turns into a monthly recurring subscription when not canceled within 7 days.
Also our support team is available 24/7 by phone and email so not sure why you say you have not been able to reach us.
Either way, we have issued a refund for all the charges now, and it should reflect in your account within a couple of days.

I was told it was ******** They were selling TV's for ****, one dollar, to a very select amount of people. I should have known better. This was April 29, 2022. I input my debit card info and all of a sudden, the dollar is to enter you into a big lottery for a chance to win a TV. I was so upset with the blatant deceit, I tried to find somehow to reach them. And you really can't find anything. Today, May 6, 2022, I got into my bank account information and I saw that *** account had been debited 44 dollars! Forty four dollars! I have no idea what for, nothing! I didn't agree to this. I cannot locate any way to reach themBusiness response

We are very sorry to hear about your experience, it seems you were referred to us by an affiliate who is falsely promoting our website. However it is clearly displayed on our website and the terms that you agreed to that you are entering a draw, and that the entry includes a trial subscription that will automatically recur when not canceled.
I can see that a refund was already issued from our end on 05/12/2022 and that you successfully initiated a chargeback with your bank already as well, so the $44 charge has been returned already.
We have also issued a refund for the $1 charge today.
PS We should be easy to reach, as you can see on your creditcard statement screenshots, the charges show both our customer support website as well as our toll free number.Initial Complaint

It is clearly displayed on the promotional page, as well as the terms and conditions the customer agrees to, that there are recurring charges if the trial is not canceled.

This complaint stems from a ******** add that I clicked on for an overstock ******* product selling for $1.00 they misrepresented themselves as being affiliated with *******. I expected the $1.00 charge but today they billed me again for $44 an unauthorized charge.Business response

We are sorry to hear about this issue. It seems an affiliate did this misrepresentation trying to earn affiliate commission, which is strictly against our advertising terms. We have issued a refund for the charges and closed down the affiliate that referred this transaction. Please note it might take a couple of days for the refund to hit your account.Customer response

I received this text message on my iPhone; Reminder! You have (2) days to claim the iPad Pro you Won from Augusts Giveaway! Do it here: **************************** I took a survey, and filled out information to claim the iPad. I followed up with my credit card information. I was billed not only the $1 that they wanted to shipping and handling as well as $7.95 for a monthly subscription fee to their web site. I called customer support to claim my iPad and was told I entered into a raffle, not that I had won already, and I was also told that the transaction did not go through and the bank was holding it for some reason. They outright lied to me because my green dot web site says the transaction went through, and is why I called to complain and get my iPad.Business response

The $7.95 charge does not come from us. From your screenshots it appears to be the monthly charge for your Green Dot account.
You have only been charged $1 for the raffle entry by us, however we have voided this charge, so it should drop after a couple of days.
Please note that the text message and survey did not originate from us. It seems to be an affiliate trying to earn commission from our website through unauthorized advertising methods. We will take the necessary action on our end.Customer response

False advertising led me to use my credit card information and the business still took more money than they refunded. The evidence is right there for you to see. I did not get a refund for their one month subscription that I did not purchase nor want and asked to refund. The only refund was the initial dollar they also took in the same transaction under false pretenses, deliberately, with no regard for me, the consumer. It’s blatant theft under false advertising. Meant to deliberately cause; INJURY, DISPARAGEMENT, SLANDER. In this case it is DISPARAGEMENT, but when someone has a strike against them, they start to not care and do whatever rule breaking pleases them.
