I purchased a NEW ******* washer out of box from Roc Appliance Outlet. My contract says for New Appliances there is a 1 year manufacture warranty. The contract I signed also says there is a 3 month store warranty. I purchased it on 7/19/22. It started getting loud and reporting errors in November 2023 around thanksgiving. I called around for repairs as my in store warranty ended but could Not afford the cost of a repair man just to come look. Fast forward 6 months I was told to call back the company and ask for a referral for a repair man so on June 1 i called them for a repair man referral. The repair man came out on June 9. He said there was no obvious wear and tear on my part. The drum inside looked very good. My problem probably came from the manufacture when they built it or something prior to purchase. I told ROC appliance it was not very loud for the first three months, it worked well and did not have much noise but it did get louder over time. I had no idea the lower noise was indicative of a problem since it’s a new machine. I paid the repair man $106, for a repair discussion. He fixed nothing and only assessed the machine. I paid $449 plus tax, delivery and hoses for this machine. I was refunded $15 for set up as they had a hard time unscrewing the water spick. I called ROC appliance today 6/9/23 to ask about the 1 year manufacturing warranty and they said oh that does not apply although your machine was new because they buy from wholesalers. I would have never purchased a $500 machine knowing I could Not get affordable repairs, replacement or a manufacture warranty on a New machine. It was not a USED machine. I signed A contract saying 3 month in store and 1 year manufacture. The women took my information over the phone today and said they would get back to me. I am seeking a working replacement. This does not have to be a NEW machine but a working unit that drains. I am On a fixed budget, and a college student with a child.
