I called the bank president last week. I told him my retirement annuity would be deposited August 1. I further told him they had an old account number. I asked what was my best option. He told me, NO PROBLEM! He would simply move it at posting to the correct account. I wouldn’t have to worry about changing the account number. Dan A**** lied to my face. He not only didn’t do what he promised, he did nothing. He could have put a note on the old account, he could have communicated with his employee designated to do the posting. He did nothing. Now he’s behaving like this is my fault! He’s too cowardly to talk to me. He sent out a woman to apologize. I don't need apologies. I needed to pay the bills scheduled for today. They lied, pretended to apologize then sent an email saying it was my fault he screwed up! Im sick of this. They have an employee who won’t ever wait on me because my late partner was a black man. He apparently doesn’t approve. What is the point of getting things arranged when this bank won’t do anything they say they will.Business response

The member and I were able to speak. I apologized for the error that was made on our part and we were able to resolve the issue by making a one time exception to allow her to access her monthly direct deposit early. I believe this complaint was resolved to the best extent possible.
