On 1/26/24 I did an order thru the McDonalds app and paid for it. When I got there, they said their milkshake machine was down (I had paid for 2). A refund was requested, and apparently their manager did not know how to do a refund. The situation escalated from there, because said manager refused to do a refund or give me her name. Her solution was to call the police. The police asked her to refund me, she still refused, and I have contacted Customer Care several times, with no response at all, even though they emailed the restaurant 3 separate times with no response. This was turned over to the NYS Attorney General's office, and someone named Richard responded saying I had been refunded 2/8/24. That is a LIE. No one has ever responded. I contacted customer care again starting 3/20/24. Again the restaurant was contacted, and I received a call from Talisha Hayles, who says she is the General Manager at the 35 Spencerport Rd restaurant. My 1 minute 9 second call with Talisha, entailed her acknowledging she did receive the 3 emails, but she had been on vacation. Not sure when she was on vacation, or why she is using that as an excuse from her night manager stealing money from customers, because she acknowledges the 3 emails were received in January and February, and again states she was on vacation. I asked if she was on vacation for the last 2 months. She says she was not, she did receive the 3 emails, and wants to know what I want. I asked to speak with the restaurant owner, at which point she hung up on me. I have been calling ever since with no response, on a Local, Regional, or Corporate Level. I've requested to speak with someone in charge SEVERAL times. There is no question I am owed the money, their dimwitted manager called the police, so there's a police report stating they owe me the money! And now, after 2 months of no return calls, I find out, they should have contacted me/refunded me within 30 days.
