Last Spring, I, along with my neighbor **** ********** secured the services of John Martens at Marten's Specialty Flooring, Inc. to place an epoxy floor over our existing garage floors. We selected our colors and had the floors installed within one week of each others. Over the winter months, I noticed the garage floor cracking and immediately contacted John Martens personally via phone (March). John explained that he would have someone follow up with me in the Spring and asked me if I have a snow plow service. I do not have a snow plow service as I work from home and shovel myself. My garage is low use as well as John is aware. John assured me the cracks would be taken care of this Summer. I received a total of 2 phone calls and 2 no shows from John's company which prompted me to continue to call throughout the Summer and most recently every week until 10/28/21 which was my last call asking when someone would be back out at my home to fix the problem before Fall as the cracks get bigger with water and snow underneath them as John and his service team mentioned on every call I made. I compared my garage floor with Judy Greenstein's to understand why its cracking and lifting in numerous places and hers is not and this is what I found and communicated to John Marten's on numerous conversations. A white piece of weather stripping material was placed between Judy's driveway and the garage floor which prevents water from seeping through where the garage floor and the driveway connect. When my garage floor was installed, I worked with John Martens and Christ Paving Company to ensure the coordination of the installation of both the garage floor and the driveway. When John's service technician Jason Franklin called me back he agreed that piece was forgotten and they would be back before Fall, 2021 to fix before the cold weather sets in and more damage (cracks, lifting, etc.) occurs and John Marten's agreed as well. Damage (additional cracking) is continuing.Business response

John Martens called BBB and indicated that he closed the business about 6 months ago, but that he is working with the consumer to fix the problems the consumer is experiencing.Customer response
