SAFETY ISSUES WITH THIS FACILITY! I was part of a group for a hockey tournament supposed to stay 2 nights. I got checked into a room with 2 beds and upon walking to my room, noticed the door was very discolored, yellowed and dirty (was supposed to be white like the other doors). Walked in and noticed the tub had left over dried soap from the previous guest. The tub was never cleaned. I took a picture and showed the girl at the front desk who stated she would clean it since nobody was there from housekeeping. I left for a game and when I got back was told she never got to it and told me “Just rinse it off with hot water and that’ll take care of it!” I was appalled! I went back to the room but refused to shower in this filth. I ended up requesting another room and the front desk clerk put me into a room that supposedly maintenance released to allow it to be occupied. It was worse than the first room they put me in! The second room had a tub faucet that was constantly leaking, missing caulk and had two different substances laying in the bottom of the tub. The back of the toilet had pubic hair on the flat area around the toilet seat lid. Ceiling peeling. The bathroom electrical outlet is a fire hazard - GFCI outlet was not working as both buttons were stuck in. I tried to test it and nothing happened. Upon turning down the bed, I found wrinkled sheets that have already been slept in along with a long black hair and a stain. At night the entire door lit up from light emitting from the hallway because there is no proper seal on it which is a fire hazard. I ended up sleeping on the top of the bed as they had no other rooms to move me in. I made food for my child in the microwave as I had a hairdryer on and my entire room lost power and could not be reset. Called the front desk and they advised me maintenance was on their way up to check it out. I waited for an hour and nobody showed. I walked down to the desk to ask what the status was as I could not use the bathroom and there was no electrical in the entire room, she stated maintenance was heading up now. So I go back to the room to find nobody. Asked my son if anyone showed up and he said no. I waited another hour and called down again. Front desk clerk stated “Okay, here’s the situation…I told the housekeeper about it so she could take a look at it but she didn’t know what to do for that, so we had to call the maintenance man in, he’ll be coming but you just have to be patient! It’ll get taken care of!” I thought I was more than patient considering. I missed breakfast because I was lied to about him coming up to my room to check it out and nobody kept me in the loop as to what was going on. I finally had enough and checked out a day early because this was by far THE WORST hotel I have EVER stayed at in my life! This place needs a complete overhaul or to be shut down!
