I contracted with the company in July 2021 for landscaping, to build a wall and rebuild stairs. I was charged for premium topsoil and was given soil mixed with large amounts of garbage which is now being pushed up throughout my yard. The soil was also piled too deeply around a large tree which subsequently died and I had to hire another company to come remove it, which cost several thousand dollars. The wall has fallen over twice and the stairs have collapsed and are unsafe. I have contacted the company numerous times. For the entirety of 2022 they would not come out to fix any of the issues, they gave excuse after excuse saying they would be there but never showed up, they were also mowing my lawn in 2022 and damaged my whole house generator. They were aware of the issues and still would not fix them, even tho they were on my property mowing the lawn (in addition, they over treated the lawn and it turned brown and died). I continued to call in 2023 and in May 2023, an individual showed up at my home to "adjust" the wall and said they would be back the next day to fix the stairs. They never returned and all of my calls and emails have been ignored. I would like the wall and stairs repaired so that they are no longer a danger or I would like a refund so that I can contract another company to fix the work.Business response

We would be happy to come repair the stairs and any issues with the wall, although some of her complaint is fictious so I am not sure how much to believe about about the complaint. We are guilty of not being able to get over but we are just now completing work we booked in '22. We should be wrapped up by the end of this week for the season and can get over next we for the repairs. As for the items that were exaggerated on, We used over 80 tons of premium topsoil and only billed for 40 as it needed more on the north side than anticipated. I also did her whole front yard for no charge. The grass browning out from our fertilizer is also impossible as we did over 50 lawns the day we did hers and had no other complaints. The problem would of been due to no watering being done for the young grass, which I had made her aware of and had our mowing crews take pictures on every visit to confirm nothing was being done to help it along. I will email home owner about setting up date to get stairs and wall repaired and submit pictures upon completion.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Although the offensive language implying my documents that they provided when the work was originally done, were fictitious, seems out of line in responding, I would like the stairs and wall repaired and made safe so as no harm will come to anyone using them. I have not heard from the company and would appreciate a reasonable timeframe in which this will be completed as well as information on how the repairs will be made and prior notice as to when they will be on my property. On 3/4/21, I paid in full for my yearly lawn mowing and yard maintenance. That part of the contract was honored. Not finished was the landscaping. I have always paid in full and in cash up-front. I have used them for years and trusted them. Never thought they would rip me off. I am still owed: -one dead plant that wasn't even buried into the earth deep enough to stay put ($49.88-the sticker on plant said), -three missing plants/bushes (I was to get 13 new plants and bushes) ($715), -and the installation of stone ($350). I have the contract signed and dated and all the emails I sent them asking for them to come out and finish up the work. Have their responses back saying when they were coming, but each time they never showed up. I want the work I paid for to be completed and properly completed.
