We hired LJP Construction and Masonry to pour a new garage pad and driveway for our home in April 2022. The owner Leo appeared to be very knowledgeable about the work that we wanted done and was very comfortable with him. The job started in May and 10 days later he finished, longer than we were told, which was blamed on a rainy day on the day the driveway was to be poured. Leo came by 3 days after the job was finished and we questioned why water was pooling on the garage floor and in one area of the driveway. His solution was to drill holes in corners of the driveway since we have a driveway curb and for the garage floor he would have to repour the garage floor so that the pitch was correct. He asked for payment with the promise that he would fix the garage's pitch. We paid him the balance minus $3k due to the garage and would pay him the remainder when the garage floor was done correctly. It has been 4 weeks, several scheduled repair dates but LJP Construction is a no show each time. I will have to contact small claims court to get reimbursed the the work done to the garage floor. I would not recommend this company to no one.
