On August 30th, September 9th and September 20th, 2021, BBB attempted to contact Moving & Storage Squad LLC regarding a high volume and pattern of serious complaints. BBB received complaints in the past 36 months alleging:
Consumers paying deposits for moving services and the business never showing up to perform the move. When the consumer calls regarding a refund, they are either promised a refund and never receiving it or they can’t get a hold of the business.
Another pattern exists concerning the movers showing up to pick up the household goods and demanding additional money to perform the move, or loading the truck and never delivering the goods to their final destination until additional payment is made.
The complaints allege the business collected advance payments ranging from $500 to $2,669. The business failed to respond to all of the complaints through BBB’s complaint process.
BBB notified Moving & Storage Squad LLC about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating the pattern by providing a written response outlining the specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future. BBB also requested general information including the names & full contact information of the business’ principal officers and responsible management, the physical address of its principal office, copies of required competency licensing, associations with other businesses and a completed BBB Standard Business Questionnaire.
As of October 1, 2021, Moving & Storage Squad LLC has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints or BBB's requests for information. BBB has concerns about Moving & Storage Squad LLC business practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.
