      I purchase a 2019 **** ****** on May 5, 2023. On July 6, 2023 the Engine Light came on. On July 11, 2023 the vehicle was picked up. It was returned stating that whatever the problem was it was fixed. July 13, 2023 the car dash lights all came on and the vehicle would not move. 7/13/23 It was towed back to Cortese Ford for the 2nd time. I received 3 rentals from them, the 1st rental was delivered, NO OIL, the 2nd rental, All lights came on "Warning Mechanical Malfunction" and car would not move. The 3rd rental held up and I had it from July 14th until October 2nd, when my Vehicle had to have the entire Engine Replaced. The AC Compressor belt broke went into engine and destroyed it. I was without a vehicle for 3 months. It was returned NO Gas, Dirty on the Inside and Out. NO apologies. Very Poor Service Department. I purchased a 2017 **** *****, the AC Compressor went ONE Year after I purchased it. There is a serious problem with Cortese Auto Block and Used Vehicles, especially the **** ***** and **** ******. They lack Professional and Service capabilities.

      The vehicle was at our dealership waiting for an engine, which is why it took so long. She was NOT without a vehicle at all, we gave her a loaner at no charge the entire time. I do feel bad for the situation she was in but we did our best to fix her issue at no cost to her. We went and put gas in her vehicle well she was here picking it up and offered her a complete full doll up but she has not been back. I have been here 27 years and have always had a great relationship with her so I was very surprised that she thinks we did anything intentionally.

      Two years ago I purchased a new **** ****** at Cortese Ford. The purchasing process went smoothly & I felt I got good value for the purchase price. At 23,000 miles I experienced a transmission problem, the reverse gear of the car would not work, and took the car in for warranty repair. I assumed that I would be provided a loaner since it was a warranty repair and that’s what I was accustomed to at other dealerships. The policy at this dealership is they only give loaners to those who purchase extended warranty packages. What was supposed to be an 11 hour repair took 16 business days. I had the loaner for a total of 22 days. Therefore on completion of the warranty repair there was a giant rental car bill due. At no prior time was I informed that rental costs were being incurred. **** customer service indicated they would pay those costs yet Cortese contended **** would pay for only 4 days. After much insistence that I would not pay rental car charges, the bill was cancelled. When purchasing a vehicle at this dealership, be aware they have no loaner cars even for extensive warranty repairs.
