On 4/10, 2 weeks post hip surgery I had an appt with REA at 0845. I arrived at 0854 and they refused service. They had no remorse for the fact that i am solely caring for myself and trying my best with a broken hip, on crutches. It hadn't even been 10 minutes past my appt time and ive been them take other people in at 10 over in the past. Seems like im the only one here with a little color as well.Business response

This is a response to the above ID number. Please see below for the response from Rochester Regional Health. Federal (HIPAA) and state law privacy guidelines preclude us from responding to your inquiry without a patient's duly executed HIPAA-compliant "speaking" authorization allowing us to respond orally or in writing to your inquiry. In accordance therewith and without discussing the particular details of this patient's case, please be advised that patients are instructed to be on time for their appointments and if they are not present at the time of their appointment the practitioner sees the next patient. If a patient arrives late for an appointment they will be seen if possible, depending upon the nature of the appointment and if doing so does not interfere with the appointments of other patients who arrived on time for their appointments. Unfortunately, if the practice is busy at that time such accommodation may not be available and the patient is offered the opportunity to make a new appointment at the earliest available date and time.
