So let’s review this schmuck shall we! So Aug23/22 he comes to my friends home and gives an estimate for labor only. Later that day gives me a laundry list of materials which I agree to buy and have delivered. Tells me he will be there on today September 12th at about 8:45-9:00am. I keep him updated on materials delivered and my part of the job of ripping the room down to the rafters that he already saw but the ceiling was last to be done the on the 11th. Shows up late after texting at 10::15am. No biggie but then starts measuring.. himming and hawing about this or that of what the job was about!! No help.. whining about how he had so much work but no help.. says he needs 2x4s to fill gaps and will go pick them up.leaves at 11am comes back at 2pm then buys a lift to do the work which I questioned why he didn’t rent or why he never had one after being in business 20 + yrs. I helped him assemble it then after I asked him if he needed help he abruptly said no not really. Went to his truck came back with tools and said now that I got this here I’ll come back tomorrow at 7am cause quote” I’m going to go do estimates for other work” This Fool thought I was going to let him come back maybe at 7 the next day when he couldn’t even make it there at 8:30? On top of that he acted like he had No Clue how to put the lift together which I showed him how and No Clue how he would put up the drywall in the angled parts of the ceilings. I said quote” why can’t you get something stated today it’s only 2 pm”? He said are you trying to tell me how to run my business to which I said no but *****’s house is a mess now and I don’t trust you to come back to do the work right. Why do you need to do estimates when you have everything here now to get work started so that I can help put the house back together as promised and scheduled by YOU! Long story short I FIRED THIS FOOL CAUSE ALL HE WANTED WAS OUT OF A JOB HE HAD NO IDEA HOW TO DO!!! HE’S A PAINTER.. NOT A DRYWALL EXPERT. NEVER HIRE!
