PH Paving tore out our old driveway in September of 2021. We received notice from the town that there was no permit filed with the town to even begin this process. This delayed him installing the new driveway. I offered to get the permit from the town but was told it would be taken care of. The driveway was then not completed until October of 2021 due to he delay. When the job was completed there was leftover asphalt and debris at the end of my driveway. I asked him to come back and clean it up to which he only kicked the debris around and didn't clean up the edges at the end of the driveway. There is also a drainage hole that he said he would come back to cap since there is a rag just haphazardly shoved into it. A week or so after completion of the driveway we discovered that the driveway has significant puddling/draining issues (along with puddling that pushed up against the house). I called and texted him multiple times to the point which my the phone would ring twice and be cut off and sent to voicemail. After about six months of trying to get in touch with PH Paving I finally received a response and he said he would come out to see the issues. He said he could do 4:30PM and after I sat waiting, calling (again my calls were being screened) I finally left a message stating how frustrated I was and he showed up within ten min. I pointed out the puddling as well as multiple spots in the driveway where full plants were growing through the brand new driveway! He stated that to get me away he would redo the back half of my driveway and be in touch in August. I requested a contract to which he laughed and said "It's late" and he would get to me in August. It is September 3rd and I haven't heard from him. I had someone come out to check the work he did and they firmly believe that the contract was broken because there are significant areas of the driveway that do NOT have 2" of asphalt (as stated in the contract), such as where the plants are growing out of it.
