      I do NOT recommend Sure Payroll for nanny tax services. I use their service in hopes of simplifying an ****** complicated system of paying for a nanny. They have failed to pay the quarterly state taxes on time. Their customer service reps are polite but unhelpful. Their tax team takes a minimum of ***** business days to provide a response, even when the attorney general sends collection notices based on their failure to pay. When they s**** up, they will say you need an amendment and charge you based on their fee schedule to resolve.An account name issue prevented an end-of-year filing. After I resolved the name error, they wanted a $200 per quarter amendment to refile! I called the state and submitted myself within minutes. The entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I have lost track of the time I spent talking to their customer service and writing emails.

      Sends me fraudulent checks. Plays games if money is put into your bank account before 3 ********************** days.

      For straight payroll, they are fine, BUT be aware that they will fail to do your state filings. This means we accrued fines, which they ultimately paid for, but honestly? There should not have been fines to begin with. They didn't understand how our filing worked and kept nudging us for things that our state didn't have until we had a 90 day history of payment. Then when they received that information, they didn't do anything with it and we wound up in collections with the state. What a nightmare. They really could save themselves--and YOU--time and money. Now we've closed the business and I told them AND put in writing that the business is closed and that I personally paid for the fines per their own instructions, and they still overpaid the state and now I have to go in circles with the state. You get what you pay for and in my current business with 13 employees, I don't use their services.

      They have been great, I've used a few companies in the past but this one by far has great customer service. I'm not sure how some are having issues with support. Every time I have called for help, I get a life person and very knowledgeable and helpful.

      DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM IF YOU ARE A CPA LOOKING FOR A PAYROLL SYSTEM FOR YOUR SMALL BUSINESSES. Intuit payroll is frustrating but not near as frustrating as this system as been for me....This has been the worse payroll system I have ever used. Their system does things on its own. I terminated 5 clients after I was disappointed with their service. Checked all the boxes to stop payroll services and marked the box to will file all reports from here on out (ended payroll in middle of qtr). Their system went ahead and filed every report for Qtr1. It withdrew funds from my client's bank account to cover the tax their system calculated. I had to go back and amend all reports for these 5 clients because their reports only showed a partial quarter (the part of the qtr that they ran payroll). Then I called to get help and they said they were sorry and made sure these clients were terminated. Had to beg for the funds back that their system withdrew with those reports. This happened again in Qtr 2. So, I had to amend all reports again. I have spent hours cleaning up their mess. They offered to help, but how can you trust them to fix anything. Plus, they said it could be weeks before their tax team could get to this issue.The next problem I came across was with my agriculture payroll. Their system reported the tax with the *** as form 941 tax as opposed to ***************************************************************************************************************************************************** the end, the Surepayroll rep said their system is right, and it's an *** problem they cannot help me with. If I told my clients, sorry, the *** has an issue with something that I did correctly, I can't help you. I would not have any clients. That is my job, to help clients with their tax issues whether it was mine or someone's fault. Our clients are not experts at payroll or tax, so they hire us to help them out.No reason to try them out!

      I do not recommend this organization. Their system is easy to use, but very limited in features and also requires a great knowledge of HR and payroll. God help you if you need any assistance with any sort of technical or billing problem. I canceled my account and switched to ADP. I had a deposit on my account that then took months to get back. Additionally, they did not file our W-2s and they archived our account and somehow they can't seem to figure out how to reactivate it. We never once received an email or phone call to let us know of any issues - it was not until our staff started asking about their inability to access and failure to receive their W-2s that we realized there was a problem and WE reached out to THEM. It is now April and STILL none of our employees can access their past paystubs and we cannot access the employer page to pull the 2023 W-2s. They keep sending emails stating to call them, however on the phone they run us in circles and never resolve anything. At this point, I'm reporting them to every regulatory and watchdog organization that I can.

      Very unprofessional attitude towards their clients. They said to us that we are not good fit for them and didnt even let us know about it. I would not recommend them at all.

      I've been a SurePayroll customer for my small ********************** (< 10 employees usually) for 10 years now. Without fail, the Customer Support folks know what they are doing, quickly provide answers, and always - I mean always - follow through. Most calls are answered right away. Occasionally they need to get back to me, and they always do. Today I asked the support member, "Does SurePayroll know how fantastic you are?" She said she blushed! I'd rather spend time growing my business than doing payroll, but they have made it painless and cost-effective for years. (I only wish I jotted her name down!)
