Dear BBB, I purchased a membership 4/17/23 for three months, (April May June). April was prorated at $45 and I agreed to put my card on file to be auto billed for $99.00 for May and June. This 3 month membership would auto renew if I did not cancel it 60 days prior to the auto renewal date. Therefore I canceled my subscription on April 27 @3:50pm to guarantee that I would not be charged another three month’s cycle, beginning in July. I later confirmed this cancellation again on May 4 @4:12 pm. I would have normally identified this problem earlier, but I had a 12 night hospitalization in late June and I’m still rehabilitating. Because of this, I was late in reviewing charges to my **** account. I discovered that my **** had been charged $99 in July, August and again in September. On Tuesday 9/5/23, I called Tranquility Now, spoke with a person who heard my concern, and that evening I received a text from ******* that said the following: “***** its come to my attention that your card has been charged past our normal 60 day cancellation policy. I am going to credit back to you last months [sic] charge and cease all further charges immediately. Very sorry for this inconvenience, Please consider using our drop in pay as you go feature (not membership) for you future needs. - *******” On Tuesday 9/5/23, in reply to the above text, I explained the overcharge in detail and requested a refund for the full amount $297.00. I received no reply. The following day I was credited only $99.00 on my ****, and as of today 9/8/23 @7pm pacific time, no other credits were posted. I was only refunded $99.00 for one month despite being over charged for three months. **** confirmed a refund of $99.00 posted on Wednesday 9/6/23. The Client is correct. They were to be refunded for July and August in the amount of $99. I took care of it within 5 minutes as it came to my attention. Please see reported documentation to see the completed refunds. I also spoke to ***** on the phone she was very cordial and understood it was an oversight. We ended amicably. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The refunds posted to my account on 9/11/23 in the amount of $99.00 each for July and August. Regards, ***** **** ****
