BBB has also noted the numerous links provided to support claims, however, more clinical research is required, and the claims that are being made would classify the product as a new drug that is not approved by the FDA. The research cited on the website involves studies done in vitro, on animals, and/or state that more research is necessary so this evidence does not substantiate the claims made.

BBB’s Code of Advertising #34 Claimed Results states:
Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.
Similar medicinal claims appear in testimonials.

30.1 In general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if:

In the U.S., advertisers should consult the Federal Trade Commission Guides on Testimonials and Endorsements for detailed guidance. In Canada, advertisers should review the Competition Bureau’s publication on Untrue, Misleading or Unauthorized Use of Tests and Testimonials for specific guidance.
The advertising also states that ingredients are “certified organic”. BBB requested proof of organic certification.
The business has responded stating that updates would be made to their advertising, but to date, none have been made.
