In Oct. I tried to start my ****** mobility scooter and the battery light did not show any charge. I rarely use it, had charged it and rode it a few weeks prior and was fine. I contacted Monroe wheelchair/numotion was told it was probably the battery, could bring the pack in and would be about $180. A few days later, Brad the tech, left voice message that the batteries were over charged and shot, that it was $118.50. I then got a vm with message of cost of $230. I called to a ask about the difference, was put on hold and then told as the cost was also $60 each battery (labor?) and the cost was $320. I have the original vm from Brad. No one mentioned additional costs for labor, etc. I will pay the $118. as long as the repair has been made. I really don't trust this company any more. Thank you. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We certainly agree that we quoted this customer different amounts and apologize for that. We have some new employees that were not following procedure. In order to correct our error we are going to honor the price Brad quoted. The work has been completed and the billing will be changed to match the amount ****** ****** is expecting. We phoned her and left a message regarding our handling of her complaint.Customer response
