    I purchased a trip through Great Value Vacations, we need to change one of the flights on the itinerary and they are charging us more for the flight than the airline AND are giving us no credit for the flight already purchased. The flight is through *************** and I spoke with *************** and the flight can indeed be changed for a $60 plus the difference in the cost of the flights, but Great Value refuses to explain the fees as to why changing a flight costs more than the actual flight!

    Will not use Great Value Vacations again! We booked our Vacation to *****/******/********* and paid $6579 in full at the time of booking. The day prior to departure, we still did not have all our travel vouchers and transport information for the ********* portion of our trip. We reached out to *** by phone and were told the Reference # on our Amsterdam itinerary was all we needed for our excursions in ********* and transport info. When we arrived in ******, our hotel accommodations were incorrect and we were advised by the hotel that *** sent the wrong accommodation request. We spent several hours waiting as the hotel worked out the correct accommodation needs. Next, when we arrived in *********, we found out that the Itinerary Ref# that the *** representative had advised on our call to *** the day prior to our trip departure was of no use and we needed vouchers for our Amsterdam canal cruise and city walk excursions and airport transfer info. So in the midst of our vacation, we had to spend our valuable vacation time on a phone call to *** to have them email the documents they should have provided prior to our departure, we ended up buying canal cruise tickets again on our own, even though we had previously purchased as part of our package. Needless to say, the issues, poor lack of follow through by *** to to ensure we had everything we needed prior to our trip and the interruption of our vacation time to rectify these issues by calling *** took away our lack of peace on our trip. On returning home, we emailed *** about the issues and asked for a partial refund for the issues that were not completed correctly on their part and stated that we would not use *** again due to their poor follow through. They responded with an offer of a $100 credit per person future *** travel, even though we had advised we would not travel with *** again.They did refund the canal cruise, however when we asked for $100 pp refund instead of a future travel credit, they refused.

When you reached out to our local partner, we sent the information to you via email. In regards to your room type, we absolutely did send each hotel a request for 2 beds. If the hotel(s) were not able to accommodate this we apologize on their behalf. Thank you for acknowledging that we refunded you for your canal cruise.
