    I am writing because National Grid has just shut off the entire gas in my home due to a gas leak, relating to a faulty boiler installation by a company. My kids and I currently have no heat , hot water and methods to cook for 3 days now. The company that installed the boiler in 2019 has been unresponsive even though I have been reaching out to them with continuous problems relating the their boiler installation. Last year 2021 I did not have heat and hot water because the boiler was not working. DOB *** also said that the installation was not up to code nor was it registered and inspected. The company has been paid in full (over $7,000) but refuse to help resolve the problem. I don't have the funds or means to move forward.Two other licensed plumbers came to observe the situation in my home and said this is an emergency because it will take time to pull permits and also get approval to turn the gas back on because the installation was not up to code, causing further delays. I am greatly concerned about the living situation my family must endure. DOB *** also concluded that the boiler installation was never registered with the city.Below are a few notations by other boilers with faulty installation of the system:1. A back flow preventer was never installed. (I was told no boiler should be installed into the home without this)2.No Air Scope was installed. (another hazard)3. The domestic water supply and boiler water supply is T'd together and there is no back flow on the boiler supply.
