On the evening of 12/11/2021, I went to the Ravagh Persian Grill, after dinner the server never came to drop off the check. My husband and I were dining in the tent outside because the inside was too busy. I went inside to pay after waiting for over 30 minutes for the server to come back. When paying my **** there was a 20% Service charge added, I thought this was an automatic tip so I said nothing, paid, and left. My husband realized that charge was incorrect as their menu states they only charge a service charge if you have a group of 6 or more. I called the restaurant for a refund. A male staff member answered, they first told me the charge was for dining outside, but I told him the host never mentioned that then he said okay well how much are you tipping, I said I'm not tipping the service was horrible, our waiter never came to bring refills on drinks, never brought the check and was rude when I placed the order because I asked for his suggestion as I had never been there before. Then he told me if I go out to eat, I have to tip, I told him tipping is not a requirement and I didn't want to tip, he kept pushing me so I told him to keep a few dollars and return the rest, he told me no, I am required to tip 18-20%, I refused and he argued with me telling me this is a restaurant, not ********** and I have to tip for service. I again refused and requested my full refund. He told me this would be a one-time thing and they would not do it again, I told him I would never come back to the restaurant so he doesn't have to worry. He advised he would refund but I have not received the refund. Date of call/interaction: 12/11/2021, around evening 7/8 PM Total **** paid: $78.46

Went to Ravagh Persian Grill in ********** for Mother's Day lunch. While placing my order, I informed the waitress on my severe peanut/tree nut allergies. I repeated this numerous times, and the waitress told me nothing that I ordered had any nuts. After the food came, I almost immediately felt a tingling/itchy sensation in my mouth and throat. My family called the waitress. She checked again with the kitchen; turns out the dish had walnuts, despite us repeatedly telling the waitress about my allergies. While I went to the bathroom to vomit, my mom talked to the manager who couldn't care less. He said that the waitress accidently gave us the wrong order - this still makes no sense because we had told her that I was allergic to nuts. Anyways, a little after I got home, I felt my throat beginning to close up and it was becoming very difficult to breathe; I took Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Epipen, and went to the *** where I had an IV connected to me. We tried numerous times within the past 24 hours to call the restaurant's manager and owner. And after confirming our identity, we were told they were unavailable to speak with us. It is clear that they are avoiding having this conversation, and do not want to do anything to improve their practices for other customers with allergies.Overall, my family and I are very disappointed with the service, the lack of care, and the lack of awareness about food allergies at this restaurant. It put me in a fatal state, and completely ruined Mother's Day for us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with food allergies.
