On 4/7/22 I purchased in cash a used 2001 *** ******* from Sitterly Auto with a 30-day Warranty that strongly implied that returns would be accepted within that time-frame. On day 27 I heard from my mechanic that the vehicle had a rusted frame, and a whole in fuel-tank and that it should never have passed NY inspection. I immediately contacted Sitterly Auto and the owner proceeded to insult me and tell me that I could send the FBI out after him but that he would never take the car back and that I would never see any of my money returned. I am a 21 year old and that was my life savings. I just want a resolution that leaves me with a vehicle that is driveable and safe, and to not feel threatened by trying to resolve this issue.Business response

Received a call from the business stating that they will allow the consumer to bring it back so that they may review and if the repair is something that is a minor issue, I will be willing to pay 50% and the other part is the consumer responsibility. The vehicle could not have passed inspection if it was that damaged. The consumer purchased a vehicle with over 150,000. Please have the consumer make an appointment for review.
