On October 31, 1023, we received our Sleepout Portable Blackout Curtain 2.0 from Sleepout Curtains (sleepoutcurtains.com) for $207.01. This purchase was made under the promise from the company that its “Modular design fits any window”. Unfortunately, this is not the case with our windows. We had family and even my fellow engineers try to make the Sleepout curtain fit our window. However, no one has been able to use this product to block the light from coming through our window effectively. Upon contacting the company and asking for help they directed us to the online videos, which we viewed endlessly prior to and even again after their recommendation to view them again. I continued to contact the company asking them to video conference with us and get this product to work as advertised. They never responded to this request, but did tell us we should seek help from a sleeping professional after saying the light is just the way it is. Our son sleeps fine, when we block out all the light coming from the window. We have managed to do this without the Sleepout curtain. It sits on a shelf unused because the product does not work and the company is not willing to video conference to see if they can figure it out. There is also no refund, we are stuck with two curtains that cost us over $200 that do not work.
