      I purchased 3 sub sandwiches from stewarts approximately on June 10th. I was told to wait 20 minutes and come in and pay. I showed up, they didn't begin working on my subs yet. I waited and additional 15 minutes for them to be made. Upon getting handed them I noticed all 3 were made incorrectly. The woman that made them confirmed they were made incorrectly by getting the order slip out of the trashcan. She asked if I wanted them remade, to which I said yes. I waited an additional 20 minutes to receive 3 new subs also made incorrectly again. I walked out and asked stewarts for a refund. After going back and forth over email, today, June 24th, I received and email stating that stewarts will only refund me for one(1) sub sandwich

      I purchased contaminated gasoline from a Stewart’s Shop on 6/4/2024 which resulted in an approximately $700 repair bill. details are outlined below.

      We have reviewed your complaint that you received contaminated gasoline purchased from our Fishkill Plains Shop. We dip our tanks daily for inventory. When taking inventory, we apply a water sensitive paste to the measuring stick, which will change color if there is water present. This location is also electronically monitored for inventory and potential water concerns. Water has a potential to become a problem in a filling station tank when it reaches a level in excess of 2" or more. If it reaches this point, we are required to have the water removed from the tank, by law, as defined in the Petroleum Standards for the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Bureau of Weights and Measure, Petroleum Products 1 NYCRR Part 224.7 (c) effective October 7, 1992.

      On the day that you believe you received 'bad' gas, no water was found in our tanks. Water will settle at the bottom of the tank because water is denser than gas. It is also important to know that when you get gas from our pumps, the gas pumped into your vehicle is not pulled from the bottom of the tank, rather it is pumped from 5 to 12 inches above the bottom of the tank. Our pumps in that shop are also equipped with water sensitive filters, which will filter water and sediment and stop the pumping process if there is a problem. There have been no reports of such a problem with over 2700 gallons of fuel pumped on 6/4/24.

      Stewarts shoppes fuel station on Morgan Road in Liverpool NY. I attempted to get my fuel here today but my payment card got stuck. It was stuck much longer than usual and never told me to start fueling. So I hit cancel but that did nothing. Tried pulling and hitting cancel more times. Had to leave my card in the slot to check with clerks who seemed to think this was normal and not worth concern and told me it would eventually pop out. Not filling up there. After several minutes it eventually did pop out. Now terrifying myself with the idea that a skimmer could have locked on to my card, though the machine appeared normal otherwise. Hopefully nothing bad happens but I am concerned nobody said it was inspected or will be checked out soon? If it’s losing them money and customers?

      I went in there about five minutes ago and had asked for an item that I knew the store has and the employee Gisela again gave me a hard time and refused to look for the item that I was going to purchase. This is an ongoing issue every time she works at the Stewart's on Fourth Street.

      ON 11/08/23 around 8:00PM -8:15PM i went to Stewarts located at 219 sand creek road Albany, NY to use the air machine to put in air my rear drivers side tire, Upon putting air in the tire the value of the air machine would not come off the stem of my tire. Once it did come off it pulled the entire stem out of my tire. I immediately reported this to the sales clerk (jenny) and also a customer that was in the store came out to check it and indeed it broke the stem completed off the tire causing ar to rapidly deplete my tire and Need of a new tire stem. i reported it immediately to the store and corporate office and later receiving a call from the store manager who was very disrespectful and rude ( i still have recording) stating they will not reimburse because no other vehicles were effected when i advised the man in the store fix the pump afterwards. they still refuse to refund the money I spent to get a new stem because of their machine malfunction.

      We investigated this complaint when the customer made us aware. Upon a full inspection, we found the free air machine to be in good working order. We have also had no other complaints of this issue occurring. We informed the customer that would be not be reimbursing them based upon these facts and cited user error.

      I visited the store in burlin ny . I had my puppy in my arms. Due to heat I carried her In with me . Was just grabbing a water for my puppy and somthing for me to drink . When I got up to the counter I was asked to leave the store . Is ********* pet friendly? Doesn’t make any since to me you can bring your dogs to restaurants now a days .

      Today 6/2 my husband and I stopped at Steward Shop #***. We are on are honey moon heading back to our home state of MN. We need gas and grabbed something to eat. I had to use the bathroom so my husband pumped gas on pump 6. I drive a white terrain. While in the store my husband and I were looking around for food and were taking a little while. All of sudden we hear a female employee I need to print a report we have a drive off on pump six. The guest standing in line was like the car is still there. The employee was like well I still need to print a report cause no one hasn’t paid yet for it. As someone who is visiting the state on their honey moon and work for a grocery store that has a gas station this was so unprofessional of the employee and really embarrassed me because I was looking for something to eat and drink and then would pay for all that with the gas. I told more than one employee I am the one on pump six and will pay once I am done finding what I want to eat. With gas and food I spent 70.58. I would have spent more for snack but that employee was extremely rude and made me uncomfortable to be in the store any more longer. The other lady who help was nice to us. There is no reason an employee should be screaming that someone drove off so the whole gas station can hear it. Overall it’s a great gas station but the employee is extremely rude and needs some retraining on customer service. Thank you and have a great day.

      Husband and I entered Stewart’s shop January 21 about 3:40Pm . Their was no customer in store at the time. We had Bottle returns. Roshad and another worker their. Roshad was at coffee pot behind counter other guy worker was doing paperwork or something. Roshad came to register was on cell phone talking to someone not customer (us) saying must have pocket dial you and our bottles are their his job to count and distribute money. Husband ask do you want me to separate and count them. Looked at him as less then nothing very arrogant disrespectful. So now my husband upset don’t talk down to anyone not Godly. He is not better then anyone. Now he went on to say take your bottle’s and leave. They sell product and they have a return deposit on them his job to take back bottles. We feel very disrespected.

      Better Business Bureau:  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   Regards,  ******** ***  I want the employee demoted and removed from this location as I am a paying customer and enjoy shopping at Stewart’s. Not the first time seeing the arrogance of this employee. I am a regular paying customer don’t appreciate being looked down on or told take my Bottles and get out when my husband asked him if he wants him to count the bottles for him. Very poor customer service. Unexceptional.

      Tonight, at around 6:45 my daughter and I went to the Stewart’s in Hamilton, NY. My family has been going to that store since it opened. We were excited they finally put one in near us. Normally we drive all the way to Barneleld for Stewart’s. When we first started going there the food and service was great. It has completely gone down hill. We have always loved the cheeseburgers there. For one they used to be $4.50 for 2. Now they are $6.00 for 2. We let is slide because that is how much we liked the food there. Now we have ordered several times and the food is getting worse and worse. Tonight we ordered 2 cheeseburgers and I tried something new, chicken on a butter bun. My husband threw out his food. He is now refusing to step foot in there because the service and the food have become terrible. You order food and the manager acts like it is an inconvenience to him. When the food is made, it is tasting more like dog food than human food. They don’t give you a receipt or a bag unless you ask for one. Poor service. Just lost a family who eats there a lot.

      I would like Stewart’s to investigate the store. A refund would be nice but we do not have a receipt from that night. We shop there a lot. A gift card would be nice, but only after conditions in the store have changed.
