I signed a work order for Arket to install a used generator to provide emergency power for my home on 12/27/21 and paid them a $250 deposit toward the $3300 price. When their technician came to our home months earlier to draft the estimate he had verified that there was no transfer switch which was needed for the installation. When 2 other technicians appeared to do the job on 12/27/21 they did not bring a transfer switch and in essence were under the impression that we were supposed already have one. They offered to go back to the shop and bring one back, however notifying me that this would cost another $900. My wife and I decided that this was unacceptable so we withdrew the order and demanded a refund of the deposit. The office manager,on orders from her CEO refused.Business response

In the spirit of Good Faith, we have decided to refund the deposit in question and close
the work order.
