Date of transaction Dec 2, 2022 Vida M**** of RLP accepted antique table top, $425 check deposit (repesenting 50% of cost of project) which was cashed and cleared our bank and on Feb 9, 2023 accepted four unfinished wooden table legs delivered to her but product cost, tax and shipping (total ( $345 ) paid by us RLP agreed to refinish the table top, attach , match -stain, and finish legs for $850 total. No completion date was expessly given but we were left with the impression that it would be done in a timely fashion and it has now been three months.since RLP received the legs on Feb 9,2023 Despite numerous attempts to contact RLP by email and phone leaving messages RLP rarely responds as to the status of the project. The one time we were told we could pick up the table on Apil 22, 2023, we went to 134 Park place to do so and no one was there. We telephoned her from that location but she did not answer. She also did not respond to our left message Attempts to resolve: We informed RLP on multiple occasions by phone messages, email and even REGESTERED MAIL that we would accept any of the three options listed below as resolution of the issue. . 1. If the project has been satisfactorly completed we wanted a date and time certain to pick up the table and we would pay the remaining $425 owed 2 If only the table top has been refinished we will pick it and the unfinished legs up and RLP would keep the $425 as payment in full for the partially completed project 3. If nothing has been done on the project we would pick up the table top, legs and expect return of the$425 deposit. Despite this out reach to RLP we have not been given a time and date certain and location in which we could pick up the table bringing a resolution to this issue.
