Had them installed factory accessory when vehicle was purchased. Part was in back order. When they installed the part they broke and screwed up electrical issues on a brand new 2023 *****. They did not give comparable loaner vehicle. They had vehicle for almost two months after breaking it and not fixing it. Meanwhile I'm still paying for a 74,000 SUV. That they installed! They told me the vehicle was fixed when I went to pick it up on 4-10-23 they still have not fixed the vehicle even though they said it was fixed

The repairs were completed and vehicle returned to customer yesterday 4/11/2023. Customer was in a loaner vehicle at no charge  the entire time his vehicle was down.

I have attached a letter I had sent to Capitaland America hoping they could help me in this awful situation I have been in with Capitaland Sabaru. This letter explains almost everything. Unfortunately, my invoices are in my car. If you have them send all my invoices you will clearly see. I have complained about how my car was driving (turns out it was just because I went from a 6 cylinder to a 4 cylinder). They state on the invoices there were no issues found. I really think they messed up my car. It came out in worse condition than it went in every time. Now I'm in a situation I don't feel secure with a car I am paying on. Please I really want the awful situation put to rest.

Approximately two years ago I purchased a 2013 ****** ******* 2.5 Vin: ***************** from a private party for my daughter in college. We noticed 5 months after purchase the car was burning oil. We took it to Capitaland Subaru on Saratoga Rd, Glenville, NY to have checked. We were advised it needed a new engine. Subaru’s are made to last! I have a ********* that has been great. Much to my dismay we agreed to have it replaced. Upon receipt of the ordered engine, we get a call from Service at Capitaland Subaru indicating that engine was in worse condition than the original engine. They recommended it be rebuilt. We agreed. The cost was approximately $2,500 and under warranty according to them. Approximately two years later the car started burning oil, and upon a oil consumption test conducted at Capitland Subaru, we were informed we needed a new engine at our cost of another $4,000! I informed Emily and Bill, Service Manager that there is something wrong with this picture. I kindly asked if they would investigate this further and should at the very least honor the work which was warrantied. I informed them this should not be occurring if they rebuilt the engine correctly. Note after two weeks for them to get back to me, I got a hold of Bill that did not even know the car history. I informed him history of events, and asked them for resolution. Honor the warranty of work. Why isn’t the work done currently under warranty? He informed me he needed to get back to me and seemingly didn’t take it seriously. I informed him nicely if I don’t hear anything I would be contacting Subaru Corporation. He asked for us to afford him the opportunity to rectify the situation locally at the dealership. One month later, I have yet to hear from Bill, Service Manager what the resolution is. No loaner provided. Very inconvenienced. Please help!

My vehicle was physically damaged while in for warranty service. The service manager is not competent enough to handle getting issues resolved. They do not have a general manager and escalated my issue to the owner who refuses to take my calls or return my messages.
