I purchased a Groupon for one of their services. All of a sudden, I get a text from Groupon saying the voucher was redeemed and would I leave a review. The text was sent on a Sunday when they are closed so I felt maybe it was a computer error from Groupon or the center. I call the center the following day. I spoke with *****. She told me it happened to 20 other people and that she would honor the voucher. She gave me an appointment on a Saturday (which also shows they are closed). I go to the appointment, ***** says that I didnt read her email. She said shed give me another appointment and would honor the Groupon price if I paid them directly. I made a new appointment even though I was angry that she didnt call or text to cancel my appointment. When I got home and read the email, it states she cant give me the services because Groupon isnt honoring the voucher. I was confused since that was the whole reason she said shed honor it. No matter if she marked it or Groupon marked it, they are still getting paid. So I left a bad review. At 10:30 pm I checked my email and saw my new appointment was cancelled at 10pm, after theyre closed. I believe it was her who redeemed the Groupon and tried to get paid twice by trying to get me to pay out of pocket while I attempt to get a refund from Groupon. She kept saying she would give me a letter to give to Groupon, which she never did, and kept wishing me luck getting a Groupon. We went back and forth through emails, where she stated that I left a bad review (which is my right) and that she wouldnt be helping me anymore and again wished me luck. I have the emails. The emails prove I never received the service. Im sure it can be traced as to who redeemed the Groupon. If it is in fact Laser Aesthetics redeemed it, and are now refusing service, thats criminal. Its petit larceny at minimum.Customer response
