  We hired Jeremy‘s company to cut down two maple trees. We gave him a deposit of $1,800 which he cashes right away. We can pull bank records showing this I also have text from him and photos also. Even if we don’t get any money back I would like to report his business. So the day came they were supposed to cut down a tree on a Thursday apparently he doesn’t have enough crewmembers so he outsourced someone that have their own company who is supposed to be here just to climb and cut off Limbs he was supposed to have Some people from his company and crew here also which he did not. These are very large trees there is no way one person should’ve been doing that. So John who was here was not happy. Jeremy showed up here for two hours to hold some ropes and left. Our yard was left a complete mess, some grass even died. The next day Jeremy called my husband and told us that our yard was going to have to sit like that for a week. My husband was like absolutely not he had told us he could get the job done in two days when we initially signed the contract and I get things happen but this is totally unacceptable so he promised us our job was his first priority and he would have a whole entire crew here on Monday! So Monday rolls around nobody showed up nobody heard from Jeremy at all we have this mess all over our yard John who has his own business came he said he spoke with Jeremy and he was at a landscaping job so clearly our job wasn’t his first priority he lied to me several times. He lied to John and ever paid John. When John was here all by himself he actually had to hire somebody to help him with these huge trees and pay out of pocked to dump the Debris. So at this point Jeremy had only come for the couple hours I wrote him and asked for our deposit back minus a few hundred dollars for the few hours he was here since none of his equipment was even used And no one from his supposed crew show up here at all.   I paid 1250 dollars to have my bushes trimmed, He did not finish the job the Tops are not cut, nor are they even. I contacted him and he agreed, stated did not have lift to do job properly. I either want him to come back and finish job with a lift or refund me half 625 dollars so I can hire some one to finish it.

  Response taken by phone:  The original bid was actually much higher.  He watched us do the job and appeared to be pleased with the work.  They made a few suggestions and we addressed them right way.  These are 60 foot tall arborvitae bushes and they cannot be topped and look even but he wanted them done that way.  We did the best we could.  They should be removed and replanted but I understand they are sentimental.  We also trimmed up the bushes on the front of the shed and that was not even on the contract.   He shook my hand signed off the job and payed the bill.

  As can be seen in the attached documents provided, I have shown before and after pictures of the bushes. The contract written up by Jeremy of Four Seasons Tree Service states he will trim 35 Aberbities down 3 ft. Now it can only be obvious that when a service such as this nature is performed, all bushes should be uniform and neat in appearance. Today, the bushes look worse than they did before the service. As for stating the bushes are 60 ft tall, you can see in the pictures a fence in the backyard which stands at six (6) feet tall. The bushes are nowhere near 60 feet tall and nor should that matter considering he accepted the job offer. After finishing the job I spoke with Jeremy via telephone and the subject stated to me that he does not usually do this type of work and did not have the proper equipment to complete this correctly. I attempted to mediate the issue, giving him two (2) weeks to rectify the situation by either returning and completing the job correctly, or refund me $625. Over two (2) weeks have passed and I have never heard from him since.

  It should be noted that after this experience it has come to my attention that Jeremy Lashomb is using the same business name as another reputable tree service based out of Syracuse, NY also called Four Seasons Tree Service. I spoke to the owner, **** ***** who informed me that this has been an ongoing issue with his company due to using the same name and has been ruining his companies reputation due to the confusion.
