We called ProSeptic LLC address listed as **** **********, ** ***** phone ************. We wanted our septic tank pumped. Stayed home from work to be there when they arrived. At arrival, servicemen could not find pump , said they would return a week later w/ device to help find pump. Following week , stayed home from work again, company cancelled last minute. We requested another date ASAP. We scheduled 10/20/2023. Different Servicemen showed up w/out device to find tank. He walked around in our yard, never uncovering the pump & told us we needed a new "leachfield" for ******. Never showed us the area he was referring to, &we did not ask, not knowing about septic) We were told we needed to leave a ****** deposit to reserve date that the work would commence. (11/13/23) We had family emergency and cancelled appt the night prior to avoid them coming to work when we couldn't be home. Our friend who is an engineer , stopped by this morning to say hello. We told him what was going on , he went outside to look at situation, and advised us that NOTHING is wrong with leech field. We called Proseptic to request refund of our ****** dep. & were told it was not refundable b/c we cancelled service. We let them know that no where on receipt does it say "non refundable", no where on website does it say "non refundable" & at no time were we told ****** dep. was non refundable. We also let them know that our engineer friend let us know that there was no need for new leech field . They hung up on us & blocked our number so we could not continue conversation. We called back from land line and got through. We were told we were "disrespectful" for cancelling the night before . I tried to explain that i was trying to spare them the expense of bringing equipment out to my house for a job that we could not be home for, and worse , a job that we were told by friend did not need to be done.We were told we could not have back our ****** , were hung up on & blocked
