      I have used Proctor for a new roof and to tighten up gutters. Each time I have called them I have had a quick response time. They have always been honest with me by not selling me something I don’t need and they are reasonably priced.

      STOP! Do not call this contractor. I met with the owner June 2022, it is now 03/16/23, and my job is not done yet. They were to be here today, of course no one showed up. I called, I left a message, no one returned my call. I called again after lunch only to find out they are not finished with the job they are working on and won't make it today. Well guess what, they are not finished with my job either. Last June I told him I wanted input on the door they were going to put in, October came and it was time to order the door finally. Since they had never discussed with me what I wanted it turned out that I needed a special order Sliding Glass door. I waited 3 months for the door, they came to install and I learned it had not been ordered as requested. The owner then lied to me saying I had changed my mind and he could not return the door. I had not changed my mind and the owner returned the door the same day that he picked it up. I was told that I had to order the door I wanted and pay for it myself through ***** due to the fact that I had changed my mind on a special order and that the door could not be returned. No problem, I went and ordered the door, the door arrived in 30 days. I cannot tell you how many times I left messages with no return call, how many times they said they would be here and did not come, with no phone call to let me know. Save your sanity, do not call this contractor. I tried to leave this review with no stars.

      I signed a contract in early October 2021 for a metal roof which was OKd by Jerry Proctor (owner) with work to begin in early November 2021. They changed the date 6 times after I contacted them. They never called me once. After 2 months of dates changed 6 times, I got a call from an employee stating the job was going to cost $5000 more than the signed contract. They have been lying to me for 2 months, before the call raising the cost $5000, stating the owner won’t make enough money on the job. I have never been treated so unprofessional nor would I have ever treated a fellow human being in 50 plus years in business so disrespectful & belittling. Their actions speak for themselves. Money is not the most important thing in this world.

      We heard that Proctor was a great roofing company. Unfortunately that is not the case. Proctor came out at the end of September to give us a quote and we signed a contract October 4th. Twice we have been given dates for the project to be done and they both ended up being no call, no shows, and no apologies! We understand many contractor's are under a lot of pressure but a complete lack of professionalism should put you out of business. One phone call is all it takes to let your client know you will not be showing up due to whatever reason and most people would reschedule. Proctor does not show up, call, or apologize for wasting people's valuable time. You would think this is something a business would be eager to fix. We are currently on day 3 of waiting for a call back to reschedule but at this point will likely be taking our business elsewhere as we have now read multiple reviews and see this as a frequent way of business for this company. If you are so busy and have a lack of materials then communicate that so a client has the option to look elsewhere, not doing this is extremely disrespectful. Don't set up a date to do the work and repeatedly not show up. Your time is not more valuable than the customer.. We have now been waiting about 6 weeks and still have a leak that is causing damage to a wall. Now that its mid November it will be very difficult to find a roofing company that can fix this by winter. We are very frustrated and at a loss due to this company. I think they should all take a class on how to interact respectfully with customers, including the secretaries.

      Would give zero stars if possible. Same challenges in setting up the work as others described - no communication and last-minute scheduling. During the job, the crew urinated on our house and left nails and debris everywhere. Now our roof is leaking and we cannot get them to honor their warranty - we've called repeatedly, emailed, and cannot get anyone to call us back. We will have to pay another contractor to fix the issue.
