On 08/09/23 I spoke with ****, who said he was the owner.  He stated that the part was shipped to the wrong address and returned to them.  He said it was in a warehouse and he had to find it.  He said he would find it and get back to me on Monday, 08/14/2023 with the details on how he would get us this part.  He said he would have it delivered by their driver, or provide me with the shipping information.  He did not get back to me.

unit was shipped back and freight company lost the freight. finally after further investigation and review. my managers went to the freight company and found the misplaced freight in one of there fall short trailers.

we brought back the gearbox to our machine shop that we had already repaired.  and had it open to check if the freight company caused any damages.     which they did.   so we went ahead and rebuilt it again at no charge to ******** ready mix.   and we delivered it back to them.  here os signed proof from the plant manager of ******** that we delivered the repaired units back to them.

I paid Machinery Equipment Rebuilders $8,500 to rebuild a gearbox. The rebuilt gearbox was returned to me in worse condition (operationally) then when I originally sent it in for repair. The claim to have rebuilt the gears but it didn't operate properly and could be used. I sent videos to ********************* to demonstrate the issue and at his request, I returned the gearbox under warranty. It has been several months and **** will no longer take my call or respond to emails or text messages. **************** has been an issue from the start as this issue has been going on now for 6-8 months. I am out $8,500 and still don't have my gearbox. I have copies of all messages, texts and responses from ********************* regarding this issue, I am seeking the return of my gearbox and a refund.

That is not true. We repaired the gearbox. I told hi. That he has a problem with his machine at his place not the gearbox. We put

all new gearing and bearings on the unit. He is lying just to harass our company. I also told him he has some other issues. *** in a liar and is using this form as a level of harassment toward my company

This response is not accurate or acceptable to me.  I have a video with audible sound demonstrating the operation of the gearbox by hand outside of the machine and another video with the gearbox connected to the motor.  There is a clear noise issue and the gears do not spin smoothly.  This is why they offered to repair it again under warranty but I still have not received the gearbox back from them.  Its been months and I have sent multiple requests for a status on when I could expect the gearbox returned.  No response.  I have copies of the video, emails and text messages to document timeline and correspondence which I will gladly share.

So do I I told *** after the repair we do not see any thing wrong with the gearbox

so I am not sure where the noise is coming from.  I told him I will have the external housing X rayed to see if the housing

is cracked if that is so we did not quote a repair for that and that would not be on ** for a repair

We sent them a gear box and valve for evaluation. **** stated they repaired both parts and sent us an invoice more than new parts would cost. We agreed to pay a more reasonable value. After payment we expected parts within a few days. Now it has dragged on over several months.**** claims the parts shipped weeks ago but never provided tracking, etc.Now we are severely behind schedule.

We contacted US Gearbox on May 16th to repair two gearboxes that were broken, I spoke to a ****. May 26th I called and once gain explained what we needed and he provided me with a shipping address to send them to. I explained that we needed an inspection and price quote before fixing the units. We were sending 3 units to use parts to make 2 good working units. The boxes included a ** that explained what was shipped and at the bottom it stated to see the repair request also included in each box. The request explained everything and that we wanted to use two of the three units to make two good working units to let us know prior to starting what the cost would be and what was needed. On June 5th **** called us at IMEX and spoke with our shop manager ***** then got transferred to me since I was the one handling the transaction. **** then proceeded to tell me the cost of the repair was $13,500 for all 3 units. I told him that was a extremely high amount more then we would want to spend and not to fix the gearboxes. **** then informed me that the three units were already fixed and he needed to know what color paint to make before he would send them back. I informed him I had not given the ok to fix the units and he was supposed to contact me first, that only two units as stated in the repair request were to be fixed at all. He said since I had sent a ** that told him to go ahead and fix them. I explained the ** had no pricing and said on the bottom to see the repair request. I forwarded him to our president **** and they came to an agreement that we would send a check for $8000 for two units and then sometime later get the other. The check was overnighted and cashed, since then we have been given no info on what has happened to the gearboxes someone was sick and now we cant get anyone on the phone and still have not seen our gearboxes. Both numbers go straight to voicemail. I am attaching all of the documentation along with tracking. Lawyer will try contact next.

This is not so the units have been repaired and are complete

I just need to know where to ship them

and first of all we repaired all 3 units

for $ ***** he told me he would pay me the balance in 30 days

      as all 3 were repaired

I spoke with "***" he said he was "****'s" partner and he said they were shipped but came back, which we had asked for a tracking number multiple times and were never given one either ****** was out sick or the shipping girl was not reachable. The shipping info was clearly listed on the *** as well as my contact info on the repair request, we have corporate signature that also includes the address and contact info.  *** said "****" was out sick but asked me to text him at the main number which is his personal cell phone, and give him the address to ship them to as well as contact info. This is also the number I always called **** at and is also the main number listed on the US Gearbox website. I have now texted him all the info he requested and got a confirmation reply, so we will wait and see what happens from here before determining the next course of action. Naturally we have documented everything to this point using screenshots. I hope to have some resolution to this problem soon.

Contacted Machinery Equipment Rebuilder's to rebuild a ***** R5 Vacuum Pump. A BOL was sent on 12/16/21 to have the pump picked up and they did with a rebuild lead time of about 2 weeks. Well, this was right at Christmas so I figured we would see it more like first or second week of January. On December 29th they received the pump and supposedly started looking it over and it had some internal damage that needed bearings and case welding. I was told it looked like it had been run without oil. **** said it could be fixed since the case wasnt cracked. At that point the price went to *********. I told **** I would need to run this by my manager, So I did and didnt have another option at the time so on December 30th I sent an e-mail stating to rebuild the pump not to exceed *********. A couple weeks later went by so I called and Talked to *** which I believe was Pauls brother and he said they were waiting on a bearing to put the pump back together and ship it out on the 19th. On January 21st I sent an email referring to the bearing and shipping on the 19th and received an email back that **** was sick with covid, and the bearing was out till the following Monday. Since then, I have called and sent various emails and so has Accounts payable. If we do get a response it, is Ill be in on Monday sick, Ill be in tomorrow sick. Now you must call from a number that they dont seem to recognize. Now with that said My manager did get ahold of **** a couple weeks ago and **** said the pump had shipped but told ***** he would call him back with the tracking number but never did. I did talk with *** briefly Friday March 25th after repeated calls. He also told me the pump had shipped but wouldn't give me a tracking number. After asking twice I was hung up on. Currently we are being told by our lawyer that they are still waiting on parts (Bearing) and as of May 12th we still have no repaired pump.

In March 2021, I reached out to Machinery Equipment Rebuilders. I spoke with a man name ****. We had a conversation about rebuilding a Philadelphia Gearbox that we removed off a 30" water valve. He was quick to return a quote and after SMT approved the scope of work a PO was written and paid for $26,835.00. I have reached out three times since. Once **** said the rebuild was underway and should be done in a few weeks, the second and third times I called the company, **** has not been available due to being out sick. This is a gear box that we need returned and that is my main focus for this complaint. I am looking for help reaching the owner of the company and getting returned to us what is righfully ours.

My answer to this complaint is the work is in progress and we are delayed.

We ordered material to make a new gear   We repaired the whole gearbox the only this missing is the material to manufacture the gear as we are waiting for the proper material to make the gear we ordered material and the supplier sent the wrong material. We are running behind behind not running from anyone I spoke to **** I am not ignoring his calls the unit is taking longer to repair as some of the Polaris needed for this repair are from Europe and shipping has been a nightmare
