Re: PRO1 Home Improvements Contractor ****************************************************** Contractor license no. ******* I signed a contract on July 6, 2021 with the contractor, ******* from PRO1 for a complete gutting and installation of a new bathroom and a new bathroom. There was a leak coming from the plumbing in the old bathroom onto the kitchen ceiling below on the first floor. That was the problem I needed to resolve. I wanted a new bathroom with new plumbing and new water proof flooring to stop the water damage to the ceiling below. It is now nearly February 2022, and the job has not been completed. He asked for his final payment on a $15,000 contract which ended up costing me $16,700 plus $700 out of pocket for a shower door and an additional out of pocket expense for the shower head & faucet. Presently, there is a gapping hole in the kitchen ceiling above the kitchen sink with exposed plumbing which leaks bath water from the ceiling onto the kitchen cabinets and into the kitchen sink. The new bathroom has a double light switch that was cut incorrectly into the walls tile. No light plate cover will fit unless the tile is recut to fit a standard 5 light switch cover. There is missing tile as well. He did not come back to finish as promised. There was no dumpster for construction waste nor did he cover floors or carpet. I purchased and covered my floors to protect them. I had to clean up and recycle all cardboard boxes and put out left behind construction garbage. Presently, there is a 50 lb. bag of ***** on my front porch which I cannot lift and he refuses to take with him. He was aware of what was left undone. He has come back but only patched the plumbing with silicone. That has not resolved the problem. It is still leaking, the ceiling is open with exposed plumbing, the light switch is uncovered with exposed wires and the wall is still missing tile. He is a liar and a gas lighter. Previous complaints are true but there is an A+ rating. Why?Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
