On November 13th 2021. I went to an autograph show at the ************** at *****************. ********. It was 1 large event with 2 different companies each having their autograph sessions on the main floor. One company was baseball players in a smaller conference room (which is what I went for). This company was ************* and I had prepaid for my tickets. No problems with them. The other company had wrestlers signing in a large ballroom (which I wanted no part of). This company was The Big Event and the company I have a major problem with. When I walked in the hotel The Big Event workers were at a table collecting general admission, which I knew nothing about. I told them I was there to have a baseball player (*****************************) sign something. They told me everyone had to pay $30 general admission. At this time they should have directed me to the baseball signing area. Not to their cash register. Reluctantly I paid it and when I went to the ************* room (baseball) they told me I did not have to pay the $30, and they didn't know anything about it. When I tried to get my money back from The Big Event folks they would not give me the time of day. They already had my money and they wanted me gone. I had no interest in that room or their companys product that day. They were scamming many people into believing that they had to pay this $30 fee when in fact they didn't unless they were going into that ballroom, which I was not. They kept lying and saying the whole hotel was 1 show and it was not. It was 2 separate shows at the same venue. I tried 3 times to explain myself and got nowhere with them. They were rude, cutthroat, scam artist thieves. I'm not the only one this happened to and I hope others report this . Also they were only accepting cash so of course there is no record of anything. Hopefully they buy something nice with all the money they stole. There were also no signs up explaining anything. It was mass confusion and they took full advantage.
