I am writing to urgently address errors on my credit report caused by the unauthorized sharing of my personal information with credit bureaus, which has led to significant financial and emotional distress.According to 15 USC 1681 Section 602, I have the right to financial privacy and expect my information to be kept confidential.Furthermore, under 15 USC 1681 Section 604(a)(2), a consumer reporting agency cannot disclose account details without my explicit consent, which I have not provided.The discrepancies related to NEW CITY FUNDING CORP have negatively affected my financial situation, requiring immediate correction.Please also ensure compliance with 15 USC 1666(b), which prohibits marking credit card payments as late under certain conditions.For your reference, my account details are as follows:Account Number: ***********I request an immediate review of my account, correction of the inaccuracies on my credit report, and strict adherence to federal laws protecting my information.If these concerns are not addressed promptly, I may pursue legal action. To whom ever this may concern my name is ******************************* Im reaching back out on the behalf of this fraudulent new city funding account that was opened in my name . I ****************************** have never had an account with ********************** nor did I give them the permission too access my credit report . Ive sent new city funding police reports incident reports and signed statements stating that , the account that was opened is fraudulent and needs too be removed from my credit file . I never ever signed an agreement with this company nor did I ever get a a loan or any resources from this company : this account with the other fraudulent information is gendering my life . Im currently facing eviction and losing my house because of this fraudulent account and the information connected to it. This account does not belong too me and Ive done everything possible too have it removed .Initial Complaint

I financed a 2010 mercury Milan, the total price was ******* , my insurance paid ******* once vehicle was totaled. Oct 13***** on Oct 19***** new city funding reported vehicle to credit bureaus as charge of for the amount of ******* . I spoke with new city funding I was told total amount due on Oct 13 ***** is ******Customer response

You have DEFRAUDED me. It has come to my attention that you received payment on a debt that was canceled; however, you are still proceeding to collect from me. The notice to the agent is a notice to the principle, and notice to the principle is a notice to the agent. I demand that the following account be removed immediately:NEW CITY FUNDING CORP 141335*******Per 15 U.S. Code ****, the finance charge is insurance that protects the lender in the event that the obligor defaults. The payment status of this account is in default, which means you received INSURANCE money! This account was then illegally listed on my consumer report as canceled debt.According to the **** when a creditor cancels a debt, a ****c form must be sent to the obligor or consumer. I never received my ****c for this canceled debt. Therefore, you are forcing me into paying the balance, which is FRAUD. Since insurance money was collected, the *** identifies canceled debt as income. ****** does not get reported on the consumer report and TAX FRAUD has been committed!Initial Complaint

I received a notice that I have a collection from NEW CITY FUNDING CORP on my credit report. It says it was opened on 10/01/2017 for $5,992with account number starting in ******** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the **** and FDCPA.I would like for this collection to be removed asap or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.Business response

New City Funding Corp. has reviewed the complaint submitted by ******************************** On October 27, 2017, ******************************* and ***************************, signed a Retail Instalment Contract at ********************* in *******, ******** for a **** Acura MDX. Attached is a copy of the contract. The account is reporting correctly on her credit report. **************** should contact New City Funding Corp. at ************** and make payment arrangements on the outstanding loan balance.

The truck that I finance thur new city funding became a total lose back in April of this year I called the company to let them know that the insurance company was ready to settle I was told by new city funding that the balance on the truck was a little over $5,000 when the insurance company reached out to new city funding they requested a totally different amount which was over $7,000Business response

New City Funding Corp. (NCFC) has reviewed Complaint ID#******** submitted by ***********************. On April 2, 2020, **************** signed a Retail Instalment Contract (attached) for a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse at ******* Auto Sales in *********, ********. **************** filed a theft claim with her insurance company for the vehicle. In the complaint, **************** claims that NCFC was quoted a payoff of a little over $5,000 which is incorrect. A copy of the payment history which shows the payment and balance history for the account is attached. At no time was the balance a little over $5,000, and the account was also past due as well. Also attached is a copy of the two payoffs that were logged on May 27, 2022, and June 7, 2022. No billing adjustment is necessary for this account. The payoff given to the insurance company was correct.Initial Complaint

I have received emails repeatedly from this company after asking them to stop and she refuses to stop her name is ******** * and now I will be moving forward with harassment charges if I receive one more email from this company I have all emails and responses to them asking her to stop and her sending them . I will also being contacting a lawyer if these emails does not stop immediately leagl action will be takenBusiness response
