4/19/24 was my move-in date to my newly renovated unit at ******************, an apartment complex managed by Dasmen residential. On 4/16/24, I was notified by *********************** that my original unit 121, would not be move-in ready so they transferred me to a new unit (203) at the last minute, causing me to have to make last minute changes. I arrived to move-in on 4/19/24 at 9am, but was told I would not be able to see the apartment until that evening at 3pm, which Ive never heard of. I of course had to change my deliveries and service appointments. Then when I finally got the keys and walked in, the apartment was filthy. There was spackle debris left everywhere throughout the apartment including piled into the bath tubs. The walls were all dirty and drawn on, as well as the baseboards. All of the doors were dirty, the stove was dirty and rusted, the bathroom cabinets were broken and dirty with a sheer layer of paint to try and cover it but it still looked horrible. I handed the keys right back to the woman at the desk and refused to move into that unit. Unfortunately ***** was not there but the woman at the desk called her and informed her I was not moving into a dirty unit, and told me to write down all the problems and they would have someone to come and fix it- but there office does not re-open until Monday 4/22. So I emailed Amari everything, and demanded my security deposit and move-in fees be refunded because Im not moving into a filthy apartment and community. After reporting this, I did not get a response until 4/22/24. On 4/25/24 they connected me with the property manager ** and he told me he was working on it. I followed up on the 29th, because I had not heard from anyone, and again on the 30th. I was told my check was sent, on the 30th. I received the check in the mail 5/7/24, I deposited it the same day, and today 5/8/24. I found out the check bounced. I contacted them regarding this and they have not said anything back.

I lived at Sienna Ridge Apartments with my son who was a newborn at the time and they had bed bug and ***** infestation along with the apartments we're not registered with the state of Arizona which I have proof of from the tenant advocate I hired to legally move out of the apartments. For years I have been contacting Dasmen because of the suffering , hazardous living and several scars I got from the bed bug bites while living there. After a couple years I was contacted by *********************************** whom is from their corporate office and said at the beginning she wanted to work out a resolution I would be satisfied with. After informing her multiple times of what happened and explaining that I spoke with the office representatives in the leasing office and over the phone and via mail through the ******* tenant advocate I hired she then kept asking me for email conversations that never existed and told me in so many words without the emails (that never existed) she could not offer me any settlement. I even sent her another email recently advising I have not heard back from her and that I want to know what their settlement offer is and she never responded back to me. The infestation was so bad little bugs would go in my son's milk and our other drinks and food so I could not have his milk or any drinks, food safely in the fridge. I would go to the store and get him milk several times a day. *********************************** claimed they were "bugs from the trees outside". I have documents, pictures, the document proving the apartment was not registered with the state of Arizona, etc. I need to be contacted back immediately with an agreeable settlement offer.

      Hi ********,

While we strive to make sure our residents love where they live, and to have fond memories of us when they leave, we did try working with you to resolve any issues. But unfortunately this complaint is from several years ago. We asked several times for you to send us documentation and pictures of the "infestation" and this is the only picture that showed any sort of bug, which from all appearances does seem like an Aphid. We truly care about our residents, but found no record of email exchanges between yourself and the management. The only email exchange found was a complaint about a car broken down in the parking lot. When requested to forward emails that you had sent to management, you were not able to produce those. And have not been clear on exactly what you are seeking in regards to this complaint from 3 years ago? You vacated the apartments in July of 2019.
