On8/2/21 Dr Baker examined my left lowe molar for its second time of a root canal. I signed some paper work and a contract stated I was reliable for 1/3 of payment if in operable. The Dr said he could do the root canal after doing X-rays. I agreed and they started. After awhile of them working in there it was done. I thought. The assistants said I had to come back to finish the rootcanal. I paid $485 out of pocket. This is what my insurance did not cover. I went to my second appointment 9/28/21 I let the assistant know that my molar felt loose. The doctor came in with what seemed like a long face and stated something like I cannot complete your root canal and go to sleep at night knowing there’s a structure problem with your tooth you’re probably better off spending the money having it removed and getting an implant. The doctor also said that I would get 70% of the money back that I paid. When I went to the front desk the lady said I would get approximately $39.50 back. She said that I signed the contract and that I’m responsible for 1/3 of the payment because it’s in operable. I said to her the doctor just admitted he knew the tooth was bad she did not agree and said you signed the contract. A few weeks later I received a check for $39.50. I called spoke with Deb. She said that they sent my insurance check back and submitted an inoperable code to them and **** should be paying me. I waited to hear from **** but didn’t. **** stated they don’t pay me and already received their check. I called back spoke with Deb again she said call **** they should be reimbursing you. I can call them for you and call you back. She never called me back. Today I called and spoke with Bre and Jackie. Neither seemed happy about it. I explained what Deb has been saying.I started to get upset and swore because this is the third or fourth time I’ve called and haven’t had anything solved. Jackie told me I signed the contract and I am responsible for the payment. 445 is a lot of money

It is our office policy that we print and have all  patients read and sign a treatment plan prior to Root Canal treatment. This treatment plan clearly states that any tooth that has a root canal started but can not be completed,  the patients with be charged 30 % of our fee.  Katherine was explained this and she signed the treatment plan that was presented to her the day of treatment.
