Zero Draft recently installed replacement windows at my home. As I watched the installer I saw that his framing was off and several large screw holes were made in the frame where he had to redo. I asked him to fix the holes and fix the frame that had big gaps. He refused. I called the office to complain and Dave in the Syracuse Office was extremely rude and hung up on me not giving me a chance to answer his question’; “So how many windows have you installed”. I tried calling back 6 times but the phone was picked up then hung up on me. Dave made no attempt to call me back. The energy audit person was also told I was having problems and said to let him finish his work. As the work got considerably worse I texted the energy auditor. No response. The installer was on the phone while doing the work and the sloppiness continued. His truck got stuck in my driveway. He told me to ask my neighbors for jumper cables. I told him they weren’t home. When someone arrived to get his truck started he was saying F words. I left a message with the answering service to have corporate call. Still waiting.

The work referred to by Ms. ***** was for the free Empower program sponsored by NYSERDA. All her complaints about the workmanship are inaccurate. To support our claim, NYSERDA (who is completely independent from Zerodraft) went to the customer’s house on October 18, 2021 to perform a complete inspection of the window installation and gave our work a full approval.
To address the other accusations – Ms. ***** called our office screaming at our employees. She was asked to stop screaming and when she wouldn’t stop we had no other option but to stop communicating with her. We will not allow our employees to be treated in such a manner.
