      On 7/24/2023 I traded my vehicle 2016 **** ******* for for a vehicle at Bill Rapp Buick GMC, 2013 ***** ******. I was promised a safe, working vehicle in my purchase. After purchase, I had vehicle inspected by certified mechanic. The vehicle showed rotting/leaking shocks, major oil leak, and rear structural damage. Was never told of vehicle being in an accident. Dealership repaired shocks, but vehicle was serviced 3 times with oil leak, and no fix to structural damage. Every month since purchase, the vehicle has been back into their service for numerous issues. I will get car back and within two weeks another issue happens and car has to go back into service. On numerous occasions I have asked General Manager to take vehicle back and return my money from purchase but they refuse. Was only given another warranty. My employment involves transporting a young disabled female in which my employment has been in risk as each time check engine light comes on and car has issues she has been in vehicle with me. I'm also NY State Disabled and I feel this vehicle is not safe, jeopardizes my employment and I have not had any enjoyment of vehicle since purchase as it has been in service every month since purchase. I have also filed a complaint with ******* ****** with no reply. Also a complaint with NY Attorney General Office with no reply.

      Deceptive advertising. Dealership states, "Free Multi-Point Inspection We will perform a free multi-point inspection on your vehicle on every service visit. You will be advised about the condition of your vehicle, what services it may need today, and what may need attention in the future" but fails to do so

      The ownership of this dealership changed on March 30th, 2023.  Bruce and Brian Rapp are no longer the owners of this dealership and any advertising or complaints with respect to the business should be addressed with the current owners and managers of the dealership.

      I brought a ***** 2010 *** turbo back in September of 2021 when I bought the car right away it had a problem with the Blind Spot Monitor brought it in right away to have the dealer take care of the problem they ended up replacing the one monitor. I kept having this issue after it would come on saying it was off and then turn off for long periods of time I told them but they only put it in the records once and said they couldn't help me I had to go to *****. At that point, it turn off again a few months went by with it off, and then it came on and started to cause electrical issues I went to ***** and they informed me that the Blind Spot Module was causing engine troubles and computer issues causing multiple codes to appear and line failures. ***** Informed me and put in the records that the Blind Spot Modules have to be repaired in pairs with matching numbers, which Bill Rapp didn't do. Bill Rapp sold me the car with this issue I told them about they said they fixed it and they didn't they took the shortcut way and because it was a problem that involved corrosion the warranty company wouldn't cover it. I had to pay 3000 dollars to fix the car and need help going after this company because they ignored me multiple times when I called about this problem and now want to place the blame on me instead of them. I brought this problem up multiple times but they never put it in the reports

      Below is the complete history between this customer and Bill Rapp Inc.: Customer took delivery of their vehicle  9/22/21. blind spot monitoring light came on 9/27 and one BSM module was purchased from ***** part was replaced when it came in. No charge. customer came in 2/22 for oil change and declined a tire rotation- NO OTHER COMPLAINTS at this visit $75.55. customer came in 4/28 for a drivability concern rear differential was REPLACED at only $150 customer pay portion. customer came in 6/1 infotainment was not working we referred them to ***** NO OTHER COMPLAINTS STATED no charge from us. customer came in 7/11 power steering concern, diagnoses and repaired $618.18. customer came in 10/31/22 with the following complaints customer was charged $70.18.  Shimmy at highway speeds (refer back to 2/22 customer declined tire rotation, tires were scalped). blind spot monitoring light flashing- found damage to left rear bumper and found the right rear module was corroded- customer declined repair. We never heard or saw the customer after 10/31/22 the original blind spot module was replaced a year prior to the next complaint and no complaints were made at any other time that there was an issue. Also if the modules HAVE to be purchased in pairs why does ***** OFFER it to be sold a single? I do not feel that we did anything wrong in this situation and no further retribution should be considered. Thank you, Brian Rapp

      I paid $500 in April when I purchased a brand new 2022 ****** ****** in cash to have a car starter fob. I did this because the app often doesn’t work and I was sick of it with my last vehicle. Due to covid, they said it was delayed and I could wait for the vehicle or bring it back when it came in. I chose to just bring it back and thank god I did, because I still haven’t heard from them that it’s in. I want my money back so I can take my vehicle elsewhere because there’s no way it hasn’t come in yet. Honestly, for making me wait 6 months I should get the part for free and my money back. But I’m fine with just a refund. This is ridiculous. And yes, I tried texting my sales person and calling for a manager with no response.

      Unfortunately the part was on backorder.  However, when receiving this complain, I looked into the matter and it was discovered that the part had been delivered.  I am not sure exactly when or where the disconnect happened, but the customer has been contacted to have the part installed.

      As a past customer of Bill Rapp there is a $100 referral that they give you for every car they are able to sell/lease. The sales representative was made aware that I was referring my friend ****** ******** and said that everything would be processed and I would be issued a payment within a week. We were there on Friday 01/15/22 and here we are over two weeks later with no referral payment issued. Upon calling and leaving a few messages online for a return response, I have received nothing.
