In Summer 2021, we hired Hoxie Painting to paint our entire home exterior, including the attached enclosed porch in the back. Their services included a “ •Four year warranty against fading and peeling” (directly from Hoxie’s email) I contacted Hoxie painting in August 2022 to advise them that there were patches of faded paint on the house, areas where the paint was chipped and even a section that was missed entirely. I received no response back. (No response to either voicemail or email) In 2023 I tried to contact again to request they honor their warranty and come fix the areas that needed to corrected. At this point I believed they must be out of business since I hadn’t heard back. A while later, I saw their advertisement in the “*******” magazine so they must have still been in busy after all. I tried to call the number in the advertisment and there was no answer and the mailbox was full. Now, January 2024 I tried contacting Hoxie again (this time Brendon Hoxie, previously I was contacting Scott Hoxie since he’s the one I initially worked with). Again, no response at all.

We originally had our house painted in 2020. We signed a contract on 6-16-20 for our house to be painted with Scott Hoxie of Hoxie’s painting. The work includes a 4 year warranty against fading or peeling. I spoke with Scott Hoxie on 4/21/2023. I mentioned that our paint was peeling and we were within the warranty period. He said the number I called was forwarded to him as it was the main line. He asked me to text photos of the contract and pictures of where the paint was peeling to the number ************. He said someone would get back to me soon but it could take up to a week. On Monday 4/24/2023 I left a voicemail for Brendan Hoxie who I was told was in charge of Hoxie Painting. I was put in touch with him back in 2020 after we had some issues with getting the job done. The contract had been signed but the job was not done in the timeframe stated. It was to be completed within a month of the contract signed but it was not done until Sept. 1, 2020. I also dealt with him in 2020 concerning some issues with the way their employees had cleaned up after working on our house. On Tuesday 4/25/2023 I group texted Scott and Brendan. I mentioned that I had reached out to them, provided them pictures of the affected areas and wanted someone to reach out to me as it had been a few days. Neither of the two have returned my messages. I have not received a phone call or a text from either of the two. You can easily look online on ****** **** and see the amount of negative reviews concerning their work and behavior. I simply want them to honor the contract we and Scott Hoxie joint signed. We have a 4 year warranty which means our paint job is covered until 2024. It is peeling in multiple places and we would like it addressed according to the terms we agreed and paid for. I am including an image of the original contract.
