I'm writing to seek assistance in recovering a full refund from a company who grossly misrepresented processing and production time for my order, an offense that could have been easily forgiven due to holiday and supply chain issues, if I were offered a real solution. I was given a partial refund, and abysmal customer service. I placed my order on Monday, November 22nd, at which time the company's website listed a production time of 5-7 business days. The company has now changed their FAQ section to say 5-10 business days, the same day that I called to ask for a refund. I am kicking myself for not taking a screen shot. They changed this section *after* our conversation, which is incredibly dishonest. Regardless, even the new information is still misleading, because I was sent a proof to approve on December 1st. Even with the holiday, that is still 6 business days later, at which time they informed me that it would be another 8-10 business days for production. I called for clarification and to find a solution. After they hung up on me, they informed me via email that they were out of the product I ordered anyway. I asked for a refund and they refused to issue me a full refund because they had already sent a proof - but the proof was for the original product I ordered. When I pointed this out, they offered me a different, less expensive product to replace it. It wasn't what I ordered. It wasn't what I promised to clients, whom were planning to purchase these products from me. Albeit my fault for promising delivery on a product from a company I had not used before, this transaction cost me money, time, and lost me potential profit. Not to mention a mentality that I have to accept a product that I didn't order, on a timeline that was misrepresented, and if I don't take that the I will be charged a fee instead of offered a full refund. I understand that we are culturally moving away from "the customer is alway right", but this seems completely ridiculous.
