My vehicle was towed by the company due to being disabled on Saturday August 10th around 10pm I was told by the tow truck driver that I could pick up the car the next day. I went Sunday August 11th and was told by a clerk at the desk they were closed and computers were down although they advertise open 24hrs 7 days a week. I then went Monday August 11th after work around 3:30pm to retrieve the vehicle. I was over charged by this place , $150 tow$150 labor $300 for storage $46 tax. They have a sign that advertise storage fee are $65 outside and $80 inside and they charge me $100 per day in addition $150 for labor which is not realistic but not labor was perform to the vehicle. I tried to contact the owner but each time I am told call back tomorrow cause he isnt in today. I would like to be refunded for over charge storage and labor rates. I never wanted my vehicle towed to the body shop I asked could they tow it to my residence and I was told no because it was late and the distance was too far. This was explained to guy there when I went to try retrieve the car on Sunday and all he said was well did you have cash..which I told him yes.This is unacceptable, they are scamming people with high rates just take a look at their reviews from other consumers experience with this place.Customer response

On October 27, 2023 I was in a no fault accident in new castle ******** in westchester county. The police called ******** automotive to tow my car. They informed me they could fix my vehicle and it would be 100% covered by insurance. After weeks of lying by *************************, the owner of ******** automotive my car was still not fixed. He hung up the phone on me, told me stories about when my car would be ready and never was and was down right disrespectful. I then ****** and yelp reviewed the business and found every other customer had the same awful experience. He told me countless times he would pay for my rental car for the extra time it was taking to get my car completed. I have it all on video record. When my car was finally ready they refused payment from State Farm and extorted my husband and I for the bill of over $23,000 in order to get my car back. We had to pay out of our own pockets and then wait for State Farm To send us money because ************************* refused. If he didnt have a check from us, he was not accepting any money. So we paid him and then he refused in turn to pay for our rental car. I am not going to hold him to th bill of the entire rental but rather a portion that he promised during a week he kept telling me the car was ready and in fact it was not. Again, i have videos to prove it. I went there and the door wouldnt open, the sensors werent working etc. all while i paid out of pocket For a rental car he promised he would reimburse me for and never did. I would finally like to get paid and be done with this terrible business. Please ****** and yelp them to see for yourself. Attached is the enterprise bill I need compensation for.
