I called this resturant and asked about bringing in a cake for an anniversary dinner, the woman said they charged $5.00 plate charge then said we have cakes here, I asked how much she told me $14 I specially asked that $14 for the cake? 3 times I asked yes said yes each time. 7 of us went and we had a nice dinner , they brought out the cake, all was well . The **** came and they charge $14 per slice! We had 7 people and they charge $14 per slice (for 12 slices!) I asked the Hostess about it said there much be a mistake she said no its $14 a slice, I explained thats not what I was told.. she said no your were told $14 a slice, why would I want 12 slices for 7 people? I asked to speak to the mgr or owner said they are not here, I ask for their name she would not give it to me. ( thats $168 for a cake) I asked her to call them she would not. I paid the **** what else could I do? I left a bad review for them and then the owner/mgr responded saying she was the person I talked to and how absurd I was to think i could get a cake for $14 then proceeded to say I was a scammer and tried to get a FREE cake. I just spent over $400 on dnner why in the world would try to get a free cake? I just wanted them to acknowled their mistake and come to an agreement.. Nothing .. they were nasty and rude to me. I would suggest someone look into their business practices they are the scammers to unknowing customers that walk into that resturant

As stated Previously in your other review (all of which have been removed or flagged for harrasment by there various plateforms. You were told over the phone that the our ****** torte was and is 14$ per slice on our menu. When you called you initial asked about the plate charge for bringing your own cake and you were told it is 5$ per plate. You then were told that we have cake on our menu. You than asked how much it would cost to order an entire cake. Since we are a restaurant and we dont normally offer that service our ***** who you were talking to said she had to check the menu as she was not sure, and responded that the cake costs ***** dollars per slice on the menu. You then asked how many slices there would be in an entire cake and she answered that there are 12 slices in the cake. Your response was " thats fine" that "the anniversary couple" could have the extra slices. It its not a reasonable assumption that an entire cake would cost ***** dollars. The fact is you were told that the twelve slice cake was ***** per slice and you said that was ok. The day of your party when the **** came you were extremely rude to our staff. Our manager told you what I am saying here and you told her you "didnt give a ***** what our menu says you have insisted that you were told that cake was ***** for the entire cake. You made a big scene and ruined the party that I guess you were organizing for your friends anniversary. So much so that they actually came in and apologized to us after you left. The corrective action that has been take because of this situation is as follows:1) we will no longer offer to sell whole cakes to any one. This was never a service we offered to begin with.2) only authorized trained employees will answer the phone and speak to customer.In conclusion, we are a Small Independently owned Family Business it is not in our best interest to scam any one. In fact our ***** was just trying to provide extra service to a customer in good faith and though it was clear given the phone conversation that took place. It is not a reasonable assumption that a restaurant would charge ***** for a entire cake. Especially not the cake in question which is contain premium ingredients and requires a large amount of labor to create. No reasonable person could be expected to believe that.The conversation as you stated in this review did not go as you said. You did not ask if the whole cake cost ***** dollars at all. You agreed to the price of "14.dollars per slice" as stated by our *****. I will not make any assumptions as to your motive. But for some reason you have decided to go out of your way to try to damage our reputation. As stated in the beginning every platform has either been removed or flagged by the platform.
