I took my vehicle to Rensselaer Honda three times for the same problem with my 2019 Honda Accord Sport. The first date 1/18/23 they told me that I needed an oil change and battery which I replaced. A few months later all of the lights on my dashboard came on, but before I could get my vehicle to Rensselaer Honda it broke down on me on I-90 in Albany and had to be towed to the Rensselaer location on 4/19/23. Once my car arrived at Rensselaer Honda and the technician looked over the car Jeanette M***** called me and stated that " Your oil is over filled, and it caused your spark plugs to cease" she also stated " we broke the head of the plug and it has to be wired back into your engine" so I said to her that Honda was the last to do my oil change and I wasn't paying for someone else's mistakes. Jeanette then said to me that " The person who did your oil change has been working for Honda for more that 20 years" and "He wouldn't make a mistake like that." Jeannette then gave me pricing for parts and labor, which came out to be almost $650 for spark plugs, oil change and labor fees. I argued that I wasn't paying that much, and it wasn't my fault, so Rensselaer Honda charged me $350. On 7/22/23 my vehicle has gone back to Rensselaer Honda for yet the same problems. All of my lights are on again, but this time Jeannette told me "It's an oil switches on the outside of my engine and NOW MY EXTENDED WARRENTY doesn't cover." The parts are $367 and $550 for labor. I spoke with the manager Tom S****** and explained what has happened from day one, he stated that " it's not Honda's fault, my car is eight years old with high mileage and those parts fail." My car is not eight years old I got it in 2019 and it wasn't having these problems before my vehicle was over filled with oil. Tom then told me that they put fraudulent information in their computer. He stated that " the spark plugs were changed because there was too much oil build up and it caused the plugs to cease." Please just rectify the problem.
