My experience has been far from satisfactory. From the outset, there were lapses in ensuring all parties were present and informed during the tax preparation process. This included the unauthorized use of my signature without my consent, a matter I am currently addressing with the company.Moreover, my recent interactions with the customer service representatives, especially during a call with an individual named *****, were highly unprofessional and distressing.As a customer who is navigating a sensitive situation regarding tax-related matters, the lack of professionalism and the apparent disregard for customer concerns are deeply troubling. I believe it is crucial to share this information with the BBB to alert other potential customers and to prompt the company to address these issues promptly.I am hopeful that by bringing this matter to the attention on BBB can facilitate a resolution and help ensure that R&G Brenner Income Tax upholds the standards expected in providing services to the public.

We regret that this client is upset. She is filing a joint return with us and is NOT the primary tax payer. She is asking us to change the tax return after it has been completed and the primary tax payer is telling us to do not change it. We are stuck in the middle of domestic issue. This client is not understanding that at best we can amend the returns from married filing jointly to married filing single but that would cost more money as now we need to preparer 3 tax returns. Our staff is not being unprofessional, we explained what we can and cannot do for the client, but they are either not understanding or unhappy that we are not taking her side against her partner.

I wouldnt even give them a star. I went to R&G to get my sisters estate done. It took them 3 days to call me back after accepting the job. I was told it would be completed by the end of the day. I tried to reach out a few times and when I hadnt been contacted by 4/18 I reached out again. When they called me back, they said dont worry and contact them if I was contacted by the **** I had to keep contacting them to get a status. They kept asking me for documents which I provided promptly and then they would ask me for them again when I reached out for a status. I did get a penalty from the *** and contacted them immediately. After 3 weeks of trying to get assistance, I paid the penalty if $2669. They finally contacted me today to let me know it was my fault because I didnt get them documents on time. Are you kidding me? Most unprofessional business I have ever used.

Unprofessional staff. Things that needs to be addressed 1. When trying to do taxes all the people that I have talked to tend to go to the same person. I made an appointment to have my taxes done with ***********************. If this person was not going to be available a phone call should be made to the client informing them about it. You should give the client an option to reschedule or to keep the appointment with the different tax preparer. This was not done in my case. I was informed that ***** was not going to be there after I came to the office. I had to take off from work to get to your office and then find out that my tax preparer was not there. This is not a professional way to act.2. The people that work in the *************** say the internet goes down often at that location. Please do look into this. When I was there I had to wait over 30 minutes just so they can start the computer. I know you are going to think that this is not your fault. If you are the company owner you will think otherwise. If it happens once in a while then ok. If it happens a lot this should be looked into. From a client 's point of view you have waisted my time that I paid you for and I feel like I was rushed and not given the time because you have to make up time for the other clients after me. This is not right. 3. When ***** did my taxes in the past she would show me the computer screen and we would go over it line by line. I can see what was entered. She will let me know if something is missing or doesn't look right. This was not done by the tax perparer that was assigned to me. I trusted the person sitting behind the desk because she works for your company. I thought she would enter the information correctly. I thought she would advise all the customers even though we do not normally go to her. But she didn't. I thought she would have the same talent as *****. I thought the company would give all employees the same basic training. Clearly I see that t

Firstly, we appreciate the feedback, even negative feedback, it helps us improve our processes.This was an emergency situation. Our employee had a personal issue that kept her out of the office. We did not know how long the employee would be out of the office. As a result, we could not offer to reschedule clients until we knew if and when the employee could return.We do not control the Internet; we are customers of ***********. All we could do is report problems when they arise. We are available for any technical support they require of us to get our Internet back online. Again, we are not in control of the *** regarding their processes and speed at which they will accept tax returns we e-file to them. The office computers are new, but like a chain it is only as strong as the weakest link, and as the client explained, the issues were with the Internet and ***.Regarding his other complaints, we will review and determine if we should adjust our business processes.
