I consigned furniture with this business and was not paid for my items. The owner screamed at me on the phone and disputed the amount she owed then refused to pay any monies.Business response

My name is Julie Monaco and I am the owner of Refabulous Furnishings. I hired **** ******** on 9/6/2021. She was hired to work in our consignment center, where she took in items on consignment. She was very aware of our terms. She began bringing items the day after she was hired. She then asked me to have larger items picked up at her ex husband's garage. I agreed and waived her pick up fee as a kindness to her. As an employee, Ms ******** was very unpredictable but a good worker. She eventually walked out of the job on 10/4/2021. She left with out notice and did not contact me for several days but then on Oct 6th sent the following text, "Sorry I won't be at work today! Thanks for everything" I have included all the paperwork that was associated with Ms ********'s account. She brought in 131 items during her employment. She was paid $485.33 on 10/18 copy of cleared check attached. She is owed $162, of which I'm happy to pay if she acknowledges this will closed to account. Since her departure, Ms ******** has been extremely unpredictable, disrespectful and frankly deceitful. I send her a letter asking to validate her address to send her final payment. Instead of giving us an address, she continued to make baseless and simply ridiculous accusations. The consignment transaction is very straight forward, all the attached documentation should clarify what each of her item was priced at and when it was sold and how much money she should have received. Here is a list of attached documentation Final ******** Inventory - details all the items 1-131, and whether they were sold or donated. **** ******** letter - The letter I send to Ms ******** 12-9 clarify what she was owed. Cleared Check #****. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any additional information.
